first time blogging here… yoroshiku onegaishimasu… let’s begin…

17 yrs ago, a baby was forced to watch (i assume) his relative, likely father, being killed. he released a massive ball of power with weird designs. 17 yrs later in tokyo, zombies are chasing after a ordinary school girl, who was later found sucked dry and there is 4 other of such cases. the officer in charge seems to know something. we are next introduce to the “mysterious transfer student” Tatsuma Hiyuu, “delinquent” Kyouichi Houraiji, “student council president” Aoi Misato, “captain of archery” Komaki Sakurai, ” wrestling team captain” Yuuya Daigo and the “scoop” Toono who till now i dunno her full name. Tatsuma seems to be sleeping but managed to escape a chalk thrown by the sensei only to get hit wif a mop. A group of 4 gangsters come to challenge them but was ruthlessly beaten up. Our scoop is trying to find out more abt the grp of 5 mentioned above and why they are close to each other. later it is shown tt the “bodies” escape from the morgue. Kisaragi Muttsuri marking the places where the ppl were attacked.

Yang is an old man tt also seems to know some thing abt what is going on. he calls Kyouichi boss and plans to call him over to tell him what is going on. Apparently Yang was the leader of the 3 sages of eastern Shinjuku (not tt it means anything to me) Yang and his two followers were attacked. The two followers were killed and Yang was taken away by a huge spider-looking thing, after he showed some kill-ass moves to kill a bunch of zombies. Kyouichi and Hiyuu arrive in time to watch him being taken away. Kisaragi tells the 5 abt the “Returned Dead” also known as the Fuishimon who comes back and attacks their loved ones. it seems tt the spidey is controlling them is a type of “Mouryou” demon. Mouryou can be a type of spirit live in trees and stones, or a demon tt feeds off corpses and spirits. Kyouichi seems to be at odds with Aoi, who is a rich girl. Aoi doesn’t want to fight.

Kisaragi goes on to say tt it is likely the next victim will be from Houmei high school, which the girl was from. they find out from Toono tt the girl has a boyfriend and even got his address (how did she know tt?). Kyouichi decides to go wif only Hiyuu and wants the rest to stay behind. we then meet Inugami sensei who looks like he knows something abt the situation too. later tt night, the boyfriend was lured by the girl’s voice to the roof top. Juz as he was going to be attacked, a rain of arrows “killed” several of the zombies. Sakurai’s power is in the control of arrows. she knocks down a tower and it was stopped by Aoi with her defensive powers. Toono appears on the scene and saw everything. the Mouryou was going to attacked her but she was protected by the 3. Spidey decides to escape. Sakurai and Yuuya gives chase. Meanwhile, a grp of monks lead by 2 ppl who looks more powerful was moving towards a old temple and meet a kid holding a cat and another female who look like they are evil. Hiyuu and Kyouichi also chase after spidey, who leads them to its nest where zombies attack. Kyouichi uses his sword and Tatsuma his fists to fend them off.

On the other side, the monks and the evil looking ppl start their fight. Basically the monks were wiped out, leaving only the 2 stronger looking ppl standing. Kyouichi managed to cut off spidey’s many arms and it exploded. amazingly it didn’t die AND managed to transform into a worm and then a centeur look alike. Hiyuu takes it down and we see a doll wif a spider crawling out. the officer seems interested in the 5. Toono and the bf were made to forget what happened by Aoi using her powers.

this series is cool!!! this is one of the 2 animes so far released this spring tt i like. it’s action packed and power-packed. the characters are very well defined too. there are quite a few ppl who seem to have their own agenda. hopefully it will be explained soon. i hope u like this as much as i do. for more info regarding this series, u can d/l the Shinsen subbed version, which has some explainations at the back of each ep on some of the words used.
