I am testing a flv plugin but since i testing it, might as well go all out with it. Ripped the Tomoyo After OP into flv format. Tomoyo After is a ’sequel’ after Clannad with the story revolving around Tomoyo. The PC ver however is a H-ver unlike Clannad PC ver which is non-H. There is a non H ver though but it is available on the PS2 only. Anyway, here is a test try of putting the video here. The song is Light colors by Lia :D

Atelier series have been one of my favourite RPG series that I had liked, its gameplay, music and character artwork has always keep me interested in the game. Now, NIS America is going to port this game to the US platform and it is scheduled for a release on 8th May 2007 (exact date is taken from IGN) The official website was launched 2 days ago and pre-order is now available. I believe those who played the japanese version will know that AI3 (known as just AI:grand fantasm in japan) features some uniques changes from predecessors. No more random encounters, encounters are done by engaging with monsters that exist on the field. New features like the a active card based battle system, guild quests and travelling between multiple worlds are features that make this title shine. Summary of how the story is like is follows (Source: ps2.ign.com and official atelier iris site). Some in-game screenshots are below as well. If you are someone who likes astounding 3d graphics, you will want to avoid this title as this game is more on the interactive gameplay rather than graphics. This game is definitely in my”must-play” list. ;)

Players take on the role of Edge Vanhite, a member of the group Mystruse whose business is exploring other worlds. Along with your friend Iris Fortner, you’ll attempt to collect a special set of magic books that will provide you with infinite wisdom. Atelier Iris 3 will feature a new Active Card Cost Battle system for turn based fights, a new visual encounter system that does away with random battles, and new guild quests that allow you to take jobs and missions at will. Players will also be able to befriend various Manas across five different worlds, acquiring their weapons and various skills.

We have character designer for Aria, we have a director who directed Rozen Maiden, Utawarerumono. and the original character design for Da Capo. All this bears the product - Sola.  A 12 episoder romance anime as stated in ANN. This animation reminds me of Da Capo in some way (yes..the character design). Anime will air on 6th April 2007. This popular H-game is going to have an anime adaptation scheduled for a July 2007 release. According to Moonphase, it is going to be a 13 episoder. Imo, i wonder how they are going to finish the whole story in 13 episodes. Here is the promotional poster found in TAF 2007.

Did some major cleaning up of my room and also redo my desk layout and the most irritating part - cable management. Bundling up my cables accordingly: Power and data cables are arranged seperately and hiding them from view behind my table. Hooked up my PS2 and my tv tuner to my Dell 2407WFP. Spent my sunday afternoon just doing all this and clearing away unwanted stuff. :o woot..shagged and tired now. Now for some pictures from my lousy webcam :P

The Tokyo International Animation Fair 2007 is now open to the public from today (24th March) onwards and it will end at 25th March. Sigh, I wish i can travel now and have a experience what a true animation fair is like in Japan (I wished for a such an event in Singapore too …yea…in my dreams). Commonly known as TAF, it is a exhibition fairs by the animation companies with lots of booths and interesting events that will take place over and award giving for the outstanding animations that were shown.

Clannad Manga… here ’s a scan… sad to say…i am not very impresed though. Overall, it is good but it just does not have that…clannad feeling. :P On a sidenote, did some minor updates to my blog. Added a top10 animes section.

My blog does not have a high visit count as compared to some other blogs…but it seems like firefox is dominating..woot ;) A picture says everything.

My japanese is not that good, but it seems that there will be a special limited item that will not be sold but only available to those who collected the Kanon DVD First Press edition only. Titled as Clannad Inivitation that contains the OP and ED and bonus stuff. If you have collected the first press of both Vol1 to Vol8 and present a “stamp?”  to a relevant shop, You will be entitled with the special bonus and the deadline for this is 10th Sept 2007.

Just went to Latendo and KKnM (shops that sells anime merchandise in Singapore) and bought my pre-ordered Nayuki figurine and a A3 Kanon poster…..nyuuu~! Now i need to find something that covers my table top to protect my posters (yea.i dont stick wallpaers to walls..i stick them to my table) ..any idea , fellow singaporean bloggers ? :)

Nuff said, You can view the streaming version of Toei’s Clannad 30s trailer here (Right Click to Save As). Pretty decent (although i prefer KyoAni’s) imo.

Clannad The Movie is set to be released on the 15th Sept 2007 ! Here are the screenshots, the quality of them arent very good as they are from streaming media, may change it to better quality ones if i can find it. :)
