2006 was a good year filled with many superb animes and the reecnt 2007 animes for winter season was not that bad either. I am looking forward to some of the tv series which are going to be aired soon or later on in 2007.
There are quite a few animes that really caught my attention (although not as much as Kanon) and they are definitely in my ‘To-Watch’ list. Here’s a few animes……
1.Hitohira (ひとひら) - 28th March 2007

Summary: Asai Mugi is a shy transfer student who stutters when she is nervous and it gets so serious that sometimes she is unable to speak out as well. One day, she was spotted by Ichinose Nono and for some unknown reason, she was recruited into the drama club and this is Asai’s greatest challenge.
2. Seto no Hanayome (瀬戸の花嫁) - 1st April 2007

Summary: A high school student that got drowned when he is at his hometown. A mermaid girl saved him, however, the girl belongs a Mafia (what the hell?) family and they have a rule whereby if a mermaid is found by a man, either person got to die. The only exception is that the man must join the family. Hence, faced with such a tough decision, the high school student decides to ‘marry’ the mermaid. Dont worry, this s a comedy. :P
3. Bokura No (ぼくらの<) - April 2007

Summary: During summer break, 15 boys and girls attending summer school explore a cave. Inside, they meet a man named Kokopelli. He asks them to play a game he made. The goal of the game is to defeat 15 robots attacking the Earth by operating their own giant, invincible robots. They think it a mere video game, however…
The rules of the game:
1. If the pilot is beaten or can’t resolve the battle within 48 hours, the Earth will be destroyed, along with all life on it.
2. The pilot is chosen in advance. There can be only one pilot operating the robot at a time, and they can’t change off with another person.
3. The robot is powered by the lifeforce of the pilot. A single battle will deprive the operator of his life.
4. Romeo X Juliet (ロミオ×ジュリエット) - 18th March 2007

Summary: Gonzo’s adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. I guess I dont need to summarise on the plot, eh :P
5. Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo (この青空に約束を―) - 18th March 2007

Summary: I am not very sure about this but it is from this bishoujo game about a promise that exists on this island. It is from non-H game if i am not wrong. :P
