Now that I am back at home enjoying my weekends, I shall post a lil more information on KyoAni’s Clannad. As mentioned in the previous post, the tv animation series will be done by Kyoto Animation (the ever popular company who did our famous AIR, Kanon, Suzumiya Haruhi, etc). As expected, the backdrops are nicely done (as if they had some kind of HDR on it) and the characters are well done.. :D
It will be directed by Tatsuya Ishihara (same director for Kanon2006, SHnY) and character design by Hitaru Inoue. The cast will be as follows…

As we can see from the list of cast here, we can notice a few popular seiyuu here: Mai Nakahara, Nonaka Ai, Mamiko Noto…The animation preview was having its original music from the game, i hope the tradition will follow as the tv series for AIR and Kanon2006 had their soundtracks from the game. Pretty original imo and thats what attracted me to it as well.
