Hitohira ep04- 頑張ってる…？！
Evil Nono appears !! :P

Asai received her test results and yea..she failed. Well, at least she has someone to accompany her with that…Kai, who failed as well. Kayo wonders what kind of weird relationship they have. Kayo was curious why she had failed her language test as it should be her proficiency….seems like she filled in the wrong selections. -.- Chitose visits Asai and returns her a book, as a matter of returning the favor, Chitose lent her a book about drama. Asai is reminded of the upcoming club activity and she dont feel like participating. Chitose was suprised that Asai had became a deliquent….and Asai upon hearing starts to visualise herself as a one. -.- Kai warns her of Nono’s wrath (lol) but Asai insists on not attending as she does not have the mood to..attend. Like as if Kai understands what she is trying to imply, the both grinned at each other. The seniors entered and as usual, Risaki catches her brother from running away. Asai starts to give an excuse that she is feeling sick and feverish……

That kind of excuse isnt going to deceive Nono! and Asai was ‘dragged’ to the club room as usual again….. :P

The next day, the club jogged around the school compound and practice their vocals after that (intensive training eh?) and after that, Nono asks Asai and Kai to practice with each other on conversation skills. Asai as a waitress and Kai as a customer. Asai runs away shortly after to escape from them but her tactic failed.

After the training, Asai walks back and spotted by Mirei, she asks Asai to take care but Nono appeared behind Mirei. She warns that she will ‘kill’ anyone who touches her club members. Mirei thinks she is over-reacting as she is just having a normal conversation with Asai. Nono adds in some sarcastic remarks to Mirei and ‘accuses’ her of peeping at them training. The both exchanged more sarcastic remarks and the conversation starts to heat up. Asai took the chance and tries to escape from the heated conversation. Unfortunately, she was dragged into some unknown challenge issued by Nono to Mirei - she will get into the top50 of the upcoming exams. Asai was totally dumbfounded. Nono gave her an advice - Work hard. -.- and so…this heated conversation ended up into a challenge to Mirei. Mirei is alright with it and accepts the challenge.

As a result, the whole club undergoes an intensive revision for the exams… Asai pops a question that has been bugging her all the while…

Q: Why do all of them hate the Drama club ?
The seniors starts to explain on many things,  the 3 of them belonged to the drama club  before the  defecting to create another club. Their opinions differ from what others have hence they defected from the drama club and created the Drama Research club and Nono has no regrets for the path she has chosen…. While on their way back home, Nono asks Takashi to escort Asai back home while she takes another path to somewhere else. While on their way back, Takashi explains to Asai that Nono’s best friend who gave her encouragement and got her into the Drama club was none other than Mirei and in the end, Mirei was also the one who prevented her to join the Drama club as well.

At her own room, Asai revises her work to prepare for the exams but eventually, she got too tired and fell asleep. Somewhere, Nono tries to practice her vocals but it seems like she is having great difficulties in doing it right. The scene skips to the day where results are released, Nono is confident that her club members is able to make it to the top30. Risaki knows that it is impossible, hence she grabs the result sheet and runs off with Kai -.-

This scene is damn funny, Nono turns into “akuma ” mode and hunts down Risaki… lol…..and she did. Takashi prays for Risaki’s safety.

At the usual club meeting, Nono briefs them that the summer holidays are coming soon and she wants them not to slack in their trainings hence she suggests to organise a gathering (more like stayover/training camp?) and they should start to practice for the performance in October which will decide the fate of their club. In addition, Nono wants Asai to show her performance during the summer holidays so as to grade and train her up during the training camp. Risaki and Takashi wonders if they are able to survive the camp…this scares Asai and she stands up. Before Asai could even voice out, Nono tells her not to say “it is not possible”. In short , not to give up.

The scene ends with Nono in her usual checkup with the doctor. Nono was informed that her condition has worsened. Time is running out for Nono.

More breakdown of the relationship between Nono and Mirei, Asai is still as cute and blur as usual. What caught my attention was the ending scene that was pretty disturbing. It is as if Nono is going to face a life-threatening condition. I hoped she will be alright. =\  The flow of the plot is pretty fast and they are already at the summer holidays soon (and Asai is still more or less the same). The most funny scene in this episode got to be Nono in her “akuma” mode… lol. Dont you think so? ;)
