sola ep03- Peaceful day (オダヤカナヒ)
Mana meets Matsuri = gg for Yorito. :)

Yorito gets ready for school while Matsuri stays at his house, just as he opens the door, Mana was right outside and this made Yorito panicking what to do. Luckily, Matsuri had hid herself up. After school, Yorito visits his sister again with another ugly looking plushie and of course, Aono rejects it as usual. Yorito leaves early and Aono was pretty unhappy about it and Mana is suspicious why he is leaving early.

Mana heads back to work at a restaurant after Yorito left, Mayuko and Takeshi are there as well, Mayuko asks what he is going to do next but Takeshi just told her he will be observing while planning his next move. Mana approaches them for a change of napkin after Takeshi “forcefully” clean Mayuko’s mouth. Mana assumed they are family and those words suprised Takeshi. Mayuko just rubs it in with Takeshi being inefficient and all the indirect sarcastic remarks towards him. Mana left shortly without staying for overtime and her fellow classmate Sakura is suspicious of her.

Back at home, Yorito finds Matsuri with lots of bowl noodles in avocado flavor (EH!? Seriously, as a lover for instant noodles, i wont eat that kind of flavor too). Apparently, Matsuri sneaked out to the nearby convinence store to buy those and Yorito was not happy with it as he is worried about her safety. Matsuri didnt really take that into consideration as it will be too boring if nothing ever happens and calls Yorito a coward (lol). Their conversation was interrupted by a doorbell…or rather..consecutive presses of the doorbell.

Mana’s here ! Yorito panics and tries to find ways to deter Mana from entering but it wasnt effective. Mana made her way in nonetheless and was suprised to see so many bows of instant noodles. She brings out the food she bought and cooks for him (aww..) Later, she realized that Yorito’s kitchen lacks of the seasonings she need (well..it is cos Matsuri had spilled all of em in the day) and ask him to go the nearby supermarket to buy. Nice tactic by Mana! and after Yorito left, she explores the house to see what he is hiding in the house and Mana was shocked when she saw Matsuri in the dining room having some vegetable salad.

Mana meets Matsuri and the both of the had a great conversation in the end. Mana asks what is her relationship with Yorito, Matsuri thinks for a long time before telling her that she is like a stray cat. Yorito admits to Mana too that he was keeping this secret from her as he was worried that Mana might tell his sister about it. Mana agrees in the end not to tell anything to his sister and in fact welcomes Matsuri. Matsuri left shortly and gave them some time alone together. Awkward, Mana goes to find Matsuri but was suprised that she had disappeared and the windows in the room was left wide open.

When the both of them was about to go out to search for Matsuri, Matsuri was right outside the door with a big bundle (apparently her stuff) on her back. Matsuri wondered what had happened and misunderstood that the both of them are going on a date together…(lol) The next day, Yorito arrives for class early and saw Mana. The both of them greeted each other and her classmate, Sae Sakura wondered what had happened.

Very slow paced episode, more like a small filler in the first half of it. Mana’s reaction to Matsuri was cute and poor Yorito was there stuck between the 2 girls. (lol). Like what Takeshi has mentioned in this episode, he will plan for his next move, I wonder when he will take action and in what way. Mayuko’s existance remains an unknown and how is she related to Takeshi really make me curious how she is gonna affect Matsuri and the rest. Aono didnt make any major appearance in the anime. Whole episode is more of a Mana-Matsuri-Yorito. The Double Ms really pwn Yorito …lol
