Seto no Hanayome ep04 - 男はつらいよ
tough life for Nagasumi…*nods*
San-chan moved into Nagasumi’s house. Nagasumi’s happiness was shatterd with the inclusion of…Maki! Maki gains trust from Nagasumi’s parents..making life worse for the poor boy. Just as when he believed life is at its worst, he got a chance to be with San=chan….to go out with her when Maki is having a nap.
While Nagasumi was thinking that he is having a good time with San-chan…it was shortlived when 2 punks was trying to bully some sch girls. Of course, San’s sense of righteousness goes up again and she provokes the punks…just when Nagasumi thinks they are in danger. Someone familar appeared, Mawari. Nagasumi’s childhood friend…and she is like San…..an incredible illogical sense of righteousness. Nagasumi believes that is the end for him
San feels the same and admires her. Mawari starts to twist words around with the punks and indirectly, Nagasumi gets involved yet agian. Ultimately, Nagasumi grabed the 2 of them and jumped into the …river? canal? wth. heck. The punks are still alive nonetheless and Mawari saves Nagasumi by jumping on one of the punk……..but forgetting that she could not swim. She grabbed onto Nagasumi and goes into panic mode. -.- Meanwhile, San was inside the water and with her real form, she uses her powers on the punks.
Nagasumi rushes off to San’s side as she is now in her mermaid form. Maki was there and of course, goes into her ‘higurashi mode’ again …Mawari saw and wondered what had happened. Nagasumi knows that if she knows of Maki’s identity, she will have to die so he pretended to play with Maki and says that it is a doll.
The both girls introduced themselvs to each other…apparently ….San chan was shocked to know that Mawari is going to be a policewoman….well..that will mean that it is the total opposite of San-chan. lol The episode ends with the usual lame humor again but one thing for sure..Mawari has some feelings for Nagasumi…so..a policewoman-wannabe and a mafia’s daughter…pretty nice combination..aint it?
As what the subtitle is saying…I am tired too. Not a very funny episode as compared to others, the pace has toned down and the humor is not that much. Pretty disappointing for this episode. Another new character introduced and more adventures to come for Nagasumi and San.
Somwhere in the city……Masa has a drink …pretty too much of a drink and ….
mistaken his boss as a beautiful lady.
Lesson learnt: dont drink too much.
