Nuns that can fight…hmm

The episode zooms in with the gay cross dressing bounty hunters finding Ellis in a church. Armed with sub machine guns, Nadie and Ellis are pretty pinned down at a corner with 3 nuns…well..funny nuns imo. The scene shifts to Rosenberg’s office shortly, Jody managed to hand a report to Rosenberg (yes..after 3episodes..lol). The scene shifts back to Ellis and Nadie along with 3 nuns in the church, hiding from the gay bounty hunters.

While Nadie and the nuns are pretty nervous of being found by the bounty hunters, Ellis is pretty relaxed…well to the extent that she can fall asleep. The scene shifts back to Jody narrating again about a researcher who was killed and his name is Heinz Schindier and his research on a girl has made him pretty famous and the girl? well…it is none other than Ellis.

Nadie comes up a plan to divert the bounty hunters attention away to protect the nuns. Ellis decides to follow Nadie as well with dual forks as weapons! Somewhere in a park, Rosenberg comes in contact with a mysterious man and with a few words, Rosenberg has a favor to ask him for the sake of the “government”. The man takes the luggage that was beside him as a indirect way of accepting the deal. Jodie narrates in the background about the man who is behind Project Leviathan..of course..tha man is Rosenberg.

Ellis dropped the stone that ‘grandma’ had gave her, she stopped and the bounty hunters caught up with them. Nadie was ordered to throw away the gun as they had Ellis with them. The bounty hunters fired a few shots to scare her and as they were to about to kill Nadie, the emotions in Ellis caused her to lose control of her powers yet again and with a surge, one of the bounty hunter’s heels melted. -.- This distraction was enough, Nadie gave one of them a kick while the nuns caught up and bashed the hell out of them (LOL). Nadie and Ellis grabbed the chance and took the jeep off, mentioning they will not kill in a holy place. The scene shifts to Jodie again, narrating more about Ellis, a brief background about this mysterious group of people known as witches who possess powers that existed long ago. As time passes, this tribe of people had grown extinct and Project Leviathan’s purpose is to create an artificial being that possess such powers and Ellis is the artificial being crafted from Project Leviathan under the care of Professor Heinz and Ellis potentials are unknown. Back to Nadie and Ellis, the gay bounty hunters were right after them. Nadie asks Ellis to release the accelerator and with a sharp turn on the steering wheel, the jeep took a u-turn and headed straight for the bounty hunters’ car. Nadie stood up, take aim and fired. The shot that sent the car crashing (right after this scene, there is a short referece to the old anime,Noir… LOL..expected that)

Jodie narrates a lil more and she believes that there is more to Rosenberg and his reason for protecting Ellis while Jodie is trying to uncover information to take down Rosenberg and his Project Leviathan, Rosenberg aint dumb either, he is aware of Jodie as well and at a conversation, he hinted at Jodie that he is ..well aware of her. The episode ends about Ellis’s past when she was younger and she was so very close to Professor Heinz that Heinz decided to gave up research just for her.

Ellis is a artifically crafted being with powers of a witch. It is still unknown if LA is another research experiment as well and the background of Jodie, Rosenberg, Ricardo, Lirio remains a mystery. Pretty amused when I see a Noir reference in the anime. Could it be hinting something?
