Hitohira ep05- Uwaaaaah~! (うわぁぁぁぁん)
Fun at the beach..not!

The drama research club prepares to head out to the chalet by the beach for their training, Chitose wants to tag along and tries to bury herself into a bag. She ‘fantasizes’ herself running on the beach with her Takashi chasing after her. Her fantasy was ended abruptly with Mirei dragging her back for practice. Chitose imagines the whole lot having fun by the beach……although….

Things did not seem that way, the whole lot got into practice in the beach just as almost the same as the drama club with a different environment. Kayo wonders if Asai is working hard now (well..she is for sure). Back to where Asai is, it is almost lunch time and the whole lot prepares the food to make curry rice. Nono tells them the training will continue right after lunch and this got the whole lot demoralised.

Back at school, Mirei tells Chitose that she will be playing the role of her sister, her peers cheered but Chitose was suprised to hear that. The drama research club continues their practice after lunch till evening by dunking their heads into the water as a means of improving their lung capacity. Risaki complains why isnt she joining and she commented if she is afraid of the water. Without saying anything, Nono dives into the water while the others were pretty..stunned. At night, Kayo looks at the photos she took, in of the photos, was Asai and fellow club mates. The scene shifts to Chitose who is looking outside at the window with her script for the drama on the table.

Back to the drama club members, Asai briefly imagines the plot that they are going to act in the upcoming drama event. The story about a girl who met 3 fairies and how their encounter ended her up with a prince etc, Asai was impressed by the plot but her heart skipped a beat when Nono tells her that she will be the girl in the plot i.e. she is the lead for the whole drama.

This got Asai into her “panic mode” again, Asai tells her not to just give up just like that, Asai’s panic mode continues and she tries to seek help from Risaki but that doesnt help either. Takashi asks Nono out and tells her that making Asai the lead is not advisable as this will cause an overload of stress on Asai. Nono refuses to take the advice that she has to do it nonetheless. Back to the practice, Nono continues to be strict towards her members and puts out blunt comments towards Asai on her weakness particularly on the point that this whole place was booked for the sake of her. Asai feels extremely stressed and rebutted her.

Asai has reached her limits, Takashi comforts her to relax and have more confidence, Asai still thinks she couldnt do it because when she is on the stage, she will panic out and will be unable to speak out. Nono scolded her and tells her to practice more and more, to try harder and harder in correcting her problem. Asai just rebutted her that all Nono has been doing was just ask her to try harder without considering her feelings, no matter how hard Asai tries, she just couldnt project her voice out to the audience not like Nono who is good in anything. This pisses Nono off as if Asai understands her as well, Takashi tries to prevent this quarrel but it was inevitable, Asai tells Nono that she understands since she has the brains for thinking of a good plot, the leadership to take on the club and the confidence in doing anythng. Nono throws the book to the floor and scolded Asai again that the way she looks at things, she will never suceed and overcome the problem and asks her to get out of the club. Asai keeps quiet for a while, thanked Nono for the care she had given her and runs out. Risaki gets Kai to chase after Asai while she herself scolded Nono that it was wrong for her to do that as it is already late at night and her words were really too harsh.  Nono replies by not giving a damn. Risaki raised her fist and delivers a punch towards Nono’s face. Takashi was shocked by Risaki’s action.

The both of them continued their cat fight while Asai trips at the beach, Asai starts crying and she throws the script towards the sea. Back to where the seniors are, Risaki delivers a punch again and Nono falls down, without realizing, Nono’s gave Risaki the knee and Risaki fell down too. The both of the collapsed resulting in a Double KO! .

Kai caught up with Asai who was still crying, Kai asks her to go back but Asai refused, she is angry over her useless self and continues crying again. Kai sits down and accompanied her that he wont leave until Asai follows him back. Siiting down at the bach, Kai asks Asai to look at the sky. The sky was filled stars that the both of them was admiring. Asai calmed down a little and they returned back to the chalet. Takashi was happy that they made it back and was even more happy to see Kai holding Asai’s hand..(lol..expected couple..aint it?) When the both of them entered the chalet, the both was shocked.

Risaki and Nono were on the floor. KO’ed. Takashi told that it is ok and ask the both of them to get some sleep. The lights off and Nono was crying.

Wow….I am totally impressed by this episode of Hitohira, no one knows that Nono’s condition is worsening and this was the main cause that Nono is pushing Asai hard to improve herself and prepare for the role in the october drama event that will decide the fate of the club. Since no one knew, Asai misunderstood Nono’s actions as not caring for her feelings, etc and hence resulting in all of this. The part where Nono scolded Asai really made me had a tinge of feeling in anger towards her. Orie Kimoto (CV for Asai) really showed her greatest in this episode imo. lol…her crying and the way she expressed her feelings when Nono was scolding her was remarkable. I wonder how will Asai deal with Nono when the both of the wake up the next day in the episode.
