El Cazador de la Bruja ep06 – Man in love (恋する男)
Men are not to be trusted….*laughs* (i am a guy btw)
As Nadie and Ellis continues their journey south, 3 bounty hunters discussed about their targets (i guess u know the targets, eh?). A man recognises one of them in the photos – Nadie. The bounty hunters were curious about their reaction and tells him to give them information and maybe they might share some bounty with him. Back on the bus, Ellis reads a romance storybook and Nadie seems to hate it. Apparently..because of 1 man. Reaching town, Nadie and Ellis alighted from the bus, a familar voice called out Nadie’s name. Lady luck could have been better on that day but it just wasnt that for the both of them. The man appeared and his name is Miguel and without saying anything much, Nadie sends him a punch. The 3 of them settled down in a cafe and Miguel reintroduced himself and also their interesting past to Ellis. Back when Nadie was younger, she worked in a bar and that where she met Miguel for the first time who was a performer on the stage during that time, a lousy performer.
Nadie was attracted to him somehow, Miguel used some reason that he needed money for a new guitar in order to perform on stage better, the naive Nadie back then believed him and gave him her pay but instead of buying a guitar, Miguel used her money on another woman instead. Ever since, Nadie believes men are nothing but liars. Back to the present, Miguel tells Nadie he will be waiting for her at the clock tower at night. Night came shortly and Nadie sat on a chair in a daze.
Confused but Nadie went ahead to meet Miguel even though she disliked him. L.A was observing them again (as always) and took the chance when Nadie was away to give Ellis a kiss when she was sleeping. In the restaurant, Miguel used his “skills” again and was able to make Nadie wait in the restaurant (the wine bottle was a good one indeed to bluff Nadie ) and took the chance to sneak out to find his actual target – Ellis. Miguel used the chance to bluff Ellis this time by telling her that Nadie is waiting for her. A bus went past the road, Ricardo noticed Nadie who is running back to find Ellis wakes Lirio up as he approaches his destination.
With Ellis with him, Miguel prepares to hand the girl over to his “client?/partner” but the 3 bounty hunters appeared instead. Miguel tries to edge his way out to safety by trying to offer Ellis to them and hoping for a share of their bounty as well. The 3 bounty hunters pointed their guns at him instead as a bigger bounty was placed on him as well. Apparently, it seems like some boss’s daughter he flirted with had placed the bounty on his head. Gunshots were heard and in a distance, a girl heard about the a bounty hunters having a gunfight nearby rushes to the scene. Back to fight, Nadie had fired a shot at one of the bounty hunters’ pistol. The battle ended quickly with the bounty hunters dead but when Nadie called out Miguel, he was motionless. Dead. The girl who heard the gunshot earlier on was devasated to see him dead. Nadie left with Ellis.
While Nadie disliked Miguel for being such a flirt, Ellis cried and Nadie cries as well with a reason. Perhaps sad over the fate Miguel had met? Perhaps of herself ?
Next episode will be an interesting one, LA and Ricardo finally engaged in an battle. It is indeed puzzling to know why the both of them are in a battle and how Lirio’s role is involved in this show. Both of them are under Rosenberg’s while LA seems more like Rosenberg’s “pet” and Ricardo seems to be a bounty hunter, the motives are yet unknown for both of them. What plans does Rosenberg have for the both of them and eventually how the story is going to unfold itself with such a interesting array of characters ? Miguel’s death is a lil mysterious, it could be possible when the bounty hunters fired 2 shots, one of them hit his lower abdomen or he was silenced when Nadie was busy with the 3 bounty hunters.
