Hayate no Gotoku! ep07 - Man’s fight (男の戦い)
baka! baka! baaaaka!
Nagi’s secret is now known to Hayate and she is definitely not happy about it and from her view, she’s thinking that Hayate is angry (which he isnt) and Wataru is definitely does not agree to the arranged marriage as well, for he likes Isumi. Isumi’s appearance changed him from a wild arrogant brat to a shy cute little boy (lol) but Isumi likes Hayate….so Wataru decides to duel Hayate !!
Hayate accepts but he decides to lose this duel so that Isumi will “fall in love” for him. Well, instead of fighting it out, Hayate chooses the non-violent way. He grabs Wataru’s sword, throws it away and turns around in circles and collapsed, pretended to be defeated. (LOL) Of course, any idiot will see that was intentional, not to mention Isumi, who was impressed by Hayate even more this time for what he had done such that he will not hurt Wataru’s pride. Wataru is definitely sore to the and runs back home crying.
Oh..and ya…while the master has been humilated, the maid sure knows how to enjoy life to the fullest (saki. lol). Back to Hayate and the rest, Hayate decides to find him and apologise, the only reference that he had is that Wataru lived in a HQ building in the city and Hayate suggested to take the subway train. To his shock, none of them knows what a subway is and the only train Maria knows is the bullet train (lol) or the oriental express as what Isumi knows. (bah). The 3 of them decides to try out the new subway train for a totally new experience and as expected, Isumi got lost the moment they stepped out of the gate. (lol). Nagi believes that Isumi should be in a place that is closest to what a subway should look like, so the both of them headed to a underground subway construction and unknown to Hayate, Nagi is pretty scared of the dark…
Nagi’s loud voice attracted the rats underground (lol?) and they attacked them, Hayate grabbed Nagi and dashed out to escape and on their way, they saw Isumi. Isumi wasnt scared though and with a calm and peaceful look, the rats were enchanted by her. (lol) and with a tailsma, she warded the rats away (wtf?!)
Isumi learns something new from Saki - Subways in Japan are connected to Brazil (LOL!!!!). Yes, you can travel to Rio de Janerio with a passport. (lol?!)
Hayate sets out again to apologise to Wataru, Nagi asks Hayate to return something to him as well. On his way, he met Saki who was pretty reserved towards Hayate and had a big reaction when Hayate simply tapped her..(lol). Saki led him to the Tachibana’s last remaining stronghold - a video rental shop. It was known to Hayate that the Tachibanas are facing a crisis of going bankrupt soon and Wataru’s family is in fact, eyeing at Sanzenin’s fortunes hence, the arranged marriage with Nagi. (lol). Hayate gave Wataru the bag which Nagi had told him to - Video tapes and wonders why Nagi needs to rent them when she has the $$$ to buy. In actual fact, Wataru has some rare titles. Wataru tells him that he is going to strike it big with this shop and determination moved Hayate, and decided to do a membership with the shop. To his shock, his ID card was already being registered by his dad…..and owned the shop lots of money. Poor Hayate…ended up have to return money on a monthly basis back to the Tachibanas.

and talking about Isumi, she had prepared her passport for a trip to Brazil with the subway train.

The last scene in this episode really got me laughing, Isumi’s antics are really omgwtf! It really caught me a lil unexpected as I might think that they are going to talk about his dad with that “oto-san” face flinging around but instead, the scene zooms in to Isumi and the “wtf?” face on the subway personnel. This is really a Isumi dominating episode imo. Talking about references, I noticed a lot of Inuyasha references again (the video rental shop). Next week is gonna be another “Wtf” episode again - Hayate in catgirl costume !!! ARGH
