Claymore ep07 - Mark of the Deceased (死者の烙印)
Will Teresa of the Faint smile able to survive this ?
While Teresa and Clare are on their way to another town, the no.3 and no.4 claymores, Noel and Sophia were gathered in an Yoma town, they were given orders to gather in this town for their next mission. The both of them were arguing with their no3 and no4 positions when the no2 claymore arrives - Irene. 2 Yomas ambushed her as she made her appearance but in a flash, the Yomas were sliced up invisible to the naked eye. Irene informs them that she has been relegated to the no3 position while Sophia and Noel have been relegated as well. The no2 claymore was replaced by a rookie instead - Priscilla. A clumsy claymore tripped and to her back, bodies and bodies of dead Yoma were being cleaved and masssacred by this clumsy looking claymore. …well..she loosk a lil loli though. (lol)
Teresa and Clare managed to reach the town and a Yoma was creating some trouble in it, Teresa strikes it down but gave away her claymore identity, however, she was welcomed instead for killing the Yoma. They managed to find a room to rest, however, their peace was shortlived. No3-No5 have reached town…and u might wonder where is No2…Priscilla. Teresa however was able to detect 3 abnormal Yokis only.
The 3 of them was able to trace Teresa down, Irene makes a direct contact head on with Teresa while Noel and Sophia does the ambushing from below and behind Teresa. Teresa was forced to get Clare out of the hotel. As Teresa escapes to the streets, the no2 Claymore Priscilla was right behind her and Teresa was not able to sense her. However, Priscilla did not ambush her as it thinks it is lowly cheap to do so.
The both began to exchange blows and Teresa’s confidence was shaken a little as she was not able to detect her Yoki, Teresa’s advantage over other Claymores was not because of strength, agility or skill but rather the main fact that she’s able to track the flow of Yoki and counters accordingly. However, Priscillia’s moves were not what Teresa had expected hence, they were pretty much on par with each other.
Priscilla’s still a rookie after all hence even with that high level of skills she possess, she lacks the combat expereince Teresa had and eventually starts to lose bit by bit until Teresa maange to overcome her moves and prepares a strike on her head. Luckily, Irene appeared and blocked that critical blow with her claymore. Noel and Sophia joined in and does their ambushing but was fended off by Teresa.
Teresa of the faint smile. The No1 Claymore was surrounded No2-No5 Claymores. The earth starts to tremble as Priscilla, Irene, Sophia and Noel unleashes their Yoma powers. The episode ends while Clare watches from a distance.
Will Teresa able to survive this ? All of them are going to fight at their fullest powers in Yoma mode and Teresa will be forced to use her Yoma powers as well, perhaps the ending of this arc will lead to the reason why Clare becomes a Claymore and eventually leading to the story of Clare and Raki. This episode was satisfying while Priscilla looks kindda cute when she’s clumsy, her unleashing of Yoma powers was scary. Prelude to an exciting upcoming episode..Claymore rocks ;)

Interesting how you refer to Priscilla as “it”, instead of “she”. :P
The next episode indeed is going to be a nice one, as something’s telling me that that it’ll reveal why Claire became a Claymore. I’m a bit iffy on Priscilla, though. She got her powers a bit too easily, I think.
