The burning passion of summer is almost over as autumn is ahead of us, sure, we have a lot of nice animes during the summer but what about autumn ? I browsed through the list in anidb and also some other sources and decided a few of my favourites. Needless to say, for those who know me – the first anime in the list is CLANNAD.
These animes are subjected to my own point of view so what seems nice to me might not be the same for you. I will have my own rating to these animes and they are graded with “<3″ . The max will be 10 <3 which means perfect score. A < means 0.5. This list will grow if I find more animes that caught my attention, be it good or bad.

Summary:
Following up on the “relationship” between Key and KyoAni, Clannad is their next anime to be aired in Oct. It is like a dream come true (yes, at least for me) as the popular visual novel hit by Key will be on TV soon. This is not to be mistaken with the CLANNAD movie as they are done by different studios. The hype for this anime is already there since Kanon ended and lasted until now, there were rumors that it is a 2-season affair for Clannad but I cant confirm. Nevertheless, this anime is a must-watch.
The story starts with Tomoya, a student who appears to be a deliquent who encounters this “supposingly weird” girl while on his way to school. Furukawa Nagisa, who is pretty feeble looking does not have any friends as those who she knew had graduated. For the male lead, Tomoya has a bad memory on his family who is pretty much shattered and this caused him to develop a kind of psychology where he dreams of a bleak world. In this world, he meets a girl who fuses junk to craft new things…
The word Clannad means “family” in irish and so is the main theme of the story. In the TV series, the story appears to focus on the 5 main characters in the game (there are others..prolly the rumor for a 2-season affair) and I really wonder how KyoAni is gonna cook them up into a wonderful anime.

Summary:
Suppose you like Sola’s original character design and suppose you like Tenmon who makes the wonderful soundtracks in the popular movies like 5cm, Beyond the Promised Place, Voices of a Distant Star and suppose if you like minori’s games (wind~a breath of heart~). How would you react to have it all-in-one in an anime ? Ef~a tale of memories~ is an anime adaptation of the popular Minori game, ef~a fairy tale of the two~. I am havin high hopes for this anime to be a hit and prolly a serious competitor to Clannad as well. The animation studio behind this is Shaft and trust me, they arent some midget kind of company. They are the ones who were involved in animes like Hidamari, Kino no Tabi Movie, REC.
A story about Hirono Hiro who draws shoujo manga for a living and he encounters a mysterious girl who appears to be waiting for someone in the church. The girl tells a tale that he is gonna meet someone soon. While it seems to be a mystery, Hirono’s bike got stolen by yet another girl, Miyamura Miyako and the both of them somehow became friends. Miyako falls for him soon after but only to find a rival in love – Kei Shindo. Kei is Hirono’s childhood friend who appears to controls and likes to tell what he should do. An entangled relationship, a mysterious bond. A tale of memories is about to begin.
Ef’s a popular game that broken into 2 parts, the sequel to the game is not yet released so I am not really sure how this anime is gonna be like, prolly it might be a intorduction to the sequel :P

Title: Ghost Hound

Summary:
An anime by Production IG ? Its official website was attractive enough for it to be of a horror genre and of course, the character designer is the one who did Jigoku Shoujo. Prolly this is the reason why this anime attracted me. This anime is about supernatural horror which deals with occults, “spirits relating” and ESP kind of cases. The story revolves around this girl, Miyako who is the only daughter of a shrine owner (sorry.i cant find the approiate term), her mother had left the family as Miyako appears to be involved with spiritualism.
This anime appears to be “Ghost Hunt” kind of story, it is a case by case story but in its process, there is some kind of relation between the characters. I am not good in jap, perhaps someone can do a translation for me in the official website summary.

Title: Sketchbook ~full color’s~

Summary:
Based on a 4-koma, Sketch book ~full color’s~ involves a group of girls who is in the Art Club of their school. The main character, Sora appears unsure in her first day of school on which club she should join. but before she can do that, she gets taken in and becomes the Art Club’s member.
Sounds familar? Such genres are common but yet, it is worth a watch. Light hearted, slice of life kind of animes are always nice and definitely for me. If you are the one who likes animes that are relaxing and “soothing to the soul” (e.g. ARIA, Hidamari Sketch), this anime is prolly for you and oh ! Makino Yui is involved in this anime..woot?

Title: Shakugan no Shana 2nd

I guess this does not need any introduction right ? The ever popular Shana returns with her favourite meron-pon and her fave quote “urusai urusai urusai!”. The cast appears the same with a few new baddies and also continuing where they have left off in the 1st season.

Title: Bamboo Blade

A week ago, my collegue at work told me about this interesting manga, I didnt pay much attention to it but the artwork seems interesting. Checking up on the anime list and finding this title in it got me a lil interested. The story revolves around the theme of kendo. Yup! Girls with kendo…does it sound ..kick-ass? Yes and how about the kendo instructor? hmm yup. a miserable looking guy who takes on a bet with his senior – To defeat his team with his own group of students.
An anime about sports is something that I seldom watch but it seems like this anime is a mix of light comedy and sports. I am interested for sure, this anime is a watch for me

Title: Myself; Yourself

Summary:
A visual novel to anime conversion, we have this guy who returns to town and realizes nothing much has changed. He meets his first love and an old friend in school and the story begins from there. While some might find it boring, I think I will this anime a fair bit of justice and decide on it when it is aired. I have to admit I am a lil biased to such romance animes but this title appears to be a bit bland with nothing in the mixture. Well, at least we dont have characters that goes uguu~ or people disappearing in this story :P
The artwork looks nice though and given the looks of it, its circle of fans wont be as wide as other titles.

An anime based on the popular MMORPG, Maple Story. There are many unknowns for me about this anime, well I can say this anime is not for me. Anime News Network had an article mentioning the anime will be done by Madhouse Studios so I suppose it wont be that bad for the quality and as for how the story is gonna be like …..haha…dont ask me. I am clueless as well.

Summary:
I watched the trailer to get the rough idea of what Mokke is about, it is a story about 2 sisters (Shizuru and Mizuki) – one who can see monsters and one who is haunted by those monsters. Prolly due to their special abilities, they are living away from the city and lives with their grandfather. I believe this anime will not be the same genre as Ghost hound but rather, something similar to Binbou Shimai with a touch of supernatural elements. Yup! A story of 2 sisters helping and caring for each other despite the abilities.
