This is not a new figurine for those who are curious, I am doing this post just to test my newly bought camera (Powershot S5 IS). My lighting in my room aint really good so bear with the quality ;) In Kanon, Tsukimiya Ayu is a bubbly and cute girl who loves to eat taiyaki and with this fact, this figurine shows the love for taiyaki that Ayu has. The figurine from Kotobukiya comes with a nice box and there is a scenery picture inside it to accompany the figurine as well. The quality is very well done and the taiyaki is in detail too (hey! you can see the red pase in the taiyaki too!)
The figurine came out on Jan 2007 and initial thought was to just buy it and nothing else and till now, this figurine is still my favourite. The base is pretty well done as well, an orange paved base where Ayu is supported to it by one leg and I hope that support can last as long as it can. Last but not least, dont expect the figurine to go “uguu~” :P . Click on more below to see some more close shots of Ayu

I wouldn’t worry too much about Ayu falling to the ground going uguu. My one is still standing properly and the leg is made of ABS I believe, so no chances of it leaning.

heh…the leaning tower of Ayu. it will be a freaking sight to have. ;)
