Thoughts: So the anime starts to diverge from the manga, for those of you who haven’t read the manga, now is your perfect reason to start! Scenes have been added, where others are taken out, I won’t list them all out, but perhaps one I, as well as many others, were looking forward to was the “sparring” session between Clare and Flora. I am sure they decided to pull it for a good reason, perhaps even ending Claymore as an anime. It is sort of ironic that we are arriving at one of the most exciting part of Claymore and the story starts to be altered.

The changes aside, things are starting to develop and the 24 Claymore is building up a strong bond as a team. Flora, Clare and Jeane can trust each other a lot more,as can Deneve and Undine. Helen is also going round comforting those who cannot deal with the shock. The storys Deneve told is, as she said herself, indeed common. Loved ones get eaten by yoma so they get strong, even Rake is doing that at the moment.

Speaking of Raki, he has no idea who he’s dealing with. Isley and Priscilla, 2 of the strongest awakened beings. That also means he is learning from the best, despite how Raki is portrayed as an annoying kid, he is definitely GAR material. Priscilla is a bit clingy, before we saw her as a warrior who wanted revenge for her brother but now she is just a loli who appears to be muted, like Clare once was, weird. I kept on having this funny thought that Priscilla and Isley is keeping Raki for when they get hungry, it’s like a home grown, free ranged human. Never happened in the manga, may be it will in the anime!

The episode titles are only revealed up to 22, which follows the manga chapters. But what lies beyond that is still unknown, probably something new and adapted. I am looking forward to it, lets pray this doesn’t ruin Claymore for us because at the moment I am really enjoying this show.
Summary (short): The 24 Claymores starts to build trust between them, while Raki starts training with Isley to become strong. As Raki faints from exhaustio, Isley sneaks off to order his subordinate, Ricardo who is in charge of his army, to destroy Pieta.
