This episode overrides everything in Lucky star as my favorite episode, mainly because it touched on the story behind how Konata’s dad and mum get to know each other and also it featured baby Konata !! Kanata (Konata’s mum) returns to the family in the form of a spirit and when Konata asks about how mum accepted him, nostalgic images of the past filled both Konata’s dad and mum (from my point of view). KyoAni really did it very well in this short touching scene, the part when Konata’s dad put the ring on Kanata’s finger was really touching yet amusing (lol @ the clumsy dad)
Lucky channel is in ruins, all seems lost …will it make a return ? Last but not least, kudos to KyoAni for such a brilliant episode in Lucky Star !
a man’s happiest and touching moment is to hold your beloved’s hand and put that ring on her finger.

Haha, I got a good chuckle watching Kanata trying to chop that daikon.
I agree that this was definitely one of the best Lucky Star episodes yet. Kudos to KyoAni for managing to take the episode in a serious direction without it feeling cheesy.

Yea, that scene was kinda funny. KyoAni is really good at it when it comes to such scenes.
