Will guilt take over Sekai?

[summary]

Episode five left us with Makoto and Sekai having sex! now comes the pain and guilt. Since the day they hooked up Sekai has been feeling depressed and knows that once Katsura finds out that it won’t be good.

She pleads with Mokoto to say something to Katsura, break it off with her, tell her the truth ANYTHING. Mokoto continues to dodge the subject completely and that he will tell her sometime. Katsura in best girlfriend she can be makes a special lemonade that is special for couples that was passed down from her mother to her, she makes it special for Mokoto who drinks it sitting next to sekai on the rooftop nervously, it was a very akward even for everyone involved.

The class was also choosing themes for their festival the writers tried to add a little humor to brighten the damper mood of the show, poor Sawanaga always trying to get himself a piece offers many suggestions that involve him either kissing or making out with all the girls that attend the room. During Katsura’s class it is decided that they will do a lounge where couples will go and make out. Unfortunately for Katsura she is un willingly put in charge of the project. The one tidbit of information is Kato and her group of friends are talking about who Kato likes, in the end it’s revealed that Kato likes Mokoto (go figure) Katsura stands up for herself and declares that her and Mokoto are indeed a couple, adding more fuel to the fire for the girls to give Katsura a hard time about.

After the confrontation an upset Kato furiously text messages friends trying to find out if Katsura had merit to what she was saying, people are starting to put two and two toegether between Sekai and Mokoto. Namely the person the most is Setsuna, she sees Mokoto and Sekai walking around hand it hand, sneaking off and even asks Sekai point blank did he break up with Katsura first before they started messing aorund?

Thought out the entire episode Mokoto tried to dodge Katsura by any means may it be lying to her, hiding out with Sekai or just not bother to answer his phone, in the end Sekai forces him to go home with katsura. Mokoto and Katsura are taking the train home together and she is trying to desperately make conversation he says the bare minimum and doesn’t add anything. During the walk home Katsura is accosted by a cell phone mascot and excitedly asks mokoto about buying matching cell phones and how great it would be, he just shrugs it off and starts walking away, leaving her alone, she trips and spills her bag of yarn and knitting supplies, he stands there and sighs heavily finally offering to help her up like she was a burden. She mentions to him that she is making something special that they could wear as a couple.

The next day Katsura again attemps to meet Mokoto but is forced to chagne her plans due to her committee meeting, so mokoto and sekai sneak away for some fun. Katsura hurrying as fast as she can to enjoy some lunch with Mokoto quickie dashes though the hallway and up the stairs to where we she hears Sekai yell “I love you Mokoto I don’t care if you dating someone else” to which Mokoto “I love you too Sekai” Katsura stops in her tracks upon hearing this with her hand on the door about to turn the knob she drops her knitting bag in shock and the yarn rolls down the stairs.

Though out episode I was becoming more and more disgusted with Mokoto and his lying too Katsura, and I found myself thinking what the hell does Sekai see in this guy? she’s been feeling down and depressed about the whole situation and knows what she is doing is hurting Katsura. But than agian she’s once again giving into her desires to make love to Mokoto. I was waiting for katsura to take one of her knitting sticks and stab Mokoto in the back with them, he did the bare minimum to even acknowledge she existed. The episode had many high and low points and now the ball is in Katsura’s court, she hsa found out the truth will she hold it inside and put on a brave face or will she confront Mokoto and end the relationship?
