[Impressions] – 皆殺し編 – Massacre Chapter

Truly an amazing episode in Higu Kai, the mastermind is revealed in this episode and Satoko’s chapter is over, now we get to the main course of this arc – the master plan of the Yamainu and what are the intentions of doing so. This whole collaboration between Yamainu’s men, Tomitake, Irie and Takano remains unknown yet and will most prolly be revealed in the next episode. There is no doubt that this arc will end in another tragic way but I hope Rika wont bow down yet, the pieces of the puzzle will now be pretty in place in the upcoming episodes and it is up to her to piece them up and obtain the miracle to break free of the chains of fate for Hinamizawa 1983.

Evil as it seems, Takano is definitely not an ordinary woman and poor Rika will prolly realize that soon for Takano ordered the men to keep a close watch on Rika.

[Summary]

Picking up from the where the last episode ended, the welfare organization called up Satoko’s house this time and knowing that the welfare people wanted to know about Satoko’s condition, Teppi threatens Satoko on what to say. Scared and worried about Satoshi’s room, Satoko agreed and takes up the receive. Rika knows that his uncle is threatening her and encourages her to speak the truth so that the welfare organisation will help her and bring justice to Teppei. Satoko tells the truth and within minutes, Teppei was brought to justice as the policemen were on standby outside her house.

It seems that everything is falling in place but Rika has one more obstacle to confront – Takano and Tomitake’s fate. However, Rika did not know that the one behind the killings is Takano and she left the both of them alone. The identity of the mastermind is revealed – Takano is the leader of the Yamainu and she appears to have her own control center somewhere near the village. The mystery killings were a result of her bio terrorism. The Hinamizawa Explosion is what she called it, it seems like it is a name for wmd planned for Hinamizawa. Tomitake disagree with her actions (he is part of them as well) and he became the sacrifice. He was injected with the virus and knocked unconscious. Knowing that the virus will take time to reach its full effect (Level5 or whatever they call it), Takano ordered a corpse to be burnt elsewhere so that she recreate the impression of the Oyashiro-sama’s curse, where Tomitake is the dead one and Takano disappearing mysteriously.

When the policemen found out the corpse, Irie was there as well. He knows something is not right..or rather, he knows something has been set in motion.
