A first look at the video and you will realize that the character design resembles Pita-ten or Kamichama Karin, you arent wrong. Koge-Donbo, the character designer for these titles is indeed the one who designs the characters for the upcoming game, Princess Concerto that is scheduled for a release on the Playstation 2 on 20th Sep 07. The game was originally for the PC and ported over to the PS2 with a slight enhancement to the graphics (imo).

Story-wise, it appears that it is the usual “one-united-kingdom-split-into-bits-and-pieces-and-war-ensues” kind of story and of course, the demonic race is there to stop all this crap and destroy them..and ur role? to stop them of course.

The Playstation 2 has been a popular platform for such port-overs while it appears this game seems pretty average, it was featured in the disc found in Comptiq October issue and trust me, there are quite plenty of fans for Koge’s artwork. The gameplay is a strategy-rpg kind of style with 3D characters and a 2D backdrop while adding in the usual visual novel style of conversation as well. (yup, that beautiful artwork). There will be a LE for this game which packs a pocket watch and also a artwork as well.

The game will be retailing at 7140yen for the normal edition and 10400 yen for the LE.
