Let the season of arts begin…

[Impressions]
The first episode of sketchbook ~full color’S~ left a very good impression in me, a story about a group of art students (each with a funny and odd character) learning how to draw and our main heroine, Sora has a very weird character who is pretty quiet on the appearance but in her mind, she is seeking possible chances to get a good sketch, which explains the sketchbook she holds every time. The ambience music of the the anime really reminds me of ARIA, that peaceful and warm feeling thats stirs your emotions as you watch the anime.

My favorite character has to be Hazuki Torikai(va by Makino Yui), her voice really suits the character well and somehow, reminds me Misaki (NHK ni Yokoso).Sora’s seiyuu did a very good job as well, her roles in other anime weren’t much but yet she is able to portray that Sora’s character. Her funny antics in some scenes really got me laughing there.

Cute anime, good animation quality and a warm soothing ambient music. This anime is definitely woth a watch for a working stressed out person. :P

PS: There was a parody scene of ARIA towards the end of the episode as well.
