Apparently several body parts were discovered by walkers in the park in the evening in the forest of Belgium’s Duden Park. Left behind on the scene was a messages which wrote “Watashi wa Kira dess”. I’m not sure whether its a mispelling by the killer or the newspaper

Seems like the anime craze has gotten into Belgium eh ? It is definitely disturbing to see a murder news related to an anime outside of Japan. Nice piece of shit indeed for that murderer, now the general public might be thinking what is the root cause of all the killings going on - animes. Bad impression for our fellow anime lovers here.

A piece of advice while I am still sane awake, it is an anime, don’t take it too seriously. You can be a fan or an otaku or a casual anime viewer, but you are being a dumbass to commit a crime under a media influence, which in this case above - the Death Note anime
