If you went to Higurashi Kai website, you will notice that there’s a recent newsbulletin being posted up. Basically, it is a official note that they were unable to convince the media authorities to lift the ban on the anime.
The creators had tried to explain that the anime had nothing to do with just sheer violence as its theme and is in no way of encouraging it either and currently the animation producers and their board are discussing on plans in resolving this issue.
It is definitely regretful to hear this news but still, I am standing on my own belief of what I had mentioned in this article here. Any thing can be destructive or addictive. It’s up to one self discipline and your own damn upbringing. It is the 21st century, information technology is widely available and can be wildly abused if you decided on it. You don’t blame the coffee beans that is legal and available, for over dosage and the high feeling of drinking coffee (sorry…that’s just me and my own comment)

my japanese aint that good but based on the sshot above, they did not mention all.
it is a note about the recent cancellations of airing the episodes on the tv i guess.

I think it’s all. It does say halt of broadcast, the staff has tried communicating with all stations, and the note thanks everyone who has been watching the show.

This only applies to the recent cancellation on Teletama. For now there’s still other TV stations showing it.
