[Blog Updates]
Once in a while, I will find myself in a dilemma of what to offer to my readers - content-wise, blog design, etc. So I decided to take a breather and ask you, the reader on your personal opinions of this blog in a constructive way.
Anime Banzai! started with an intention (my intention, actually) to allow people who are interested to submit their drafts and articles to here (i.e. guest writing and dedicated writing). Of course, thanks to Animeblogger as well, otherwise, I would have nowhere to start this in the first place. :P We are still looking for writers, nonetheless - guest and dedicated.
I will start the ball rolling by talking about myself. Personally, I am trying to correct my bad English as much as I can. I am sure you guys are aware that my language isn’t very good, prolly you might be thinking what the hell I might be talking. Perhaps I might try to cut down on episode summary and post more on impressions, which helps me in a way since I am a working person and doing this helps a lot in the time spent.
I am requesting constructive feedback about this blog on certain aspects:
- Things you would like to see and not to see here on the main page
- Type of contents you hope to read
- Which categories you enjoyed, etc
- How you feel about the layout/theme design and does it need a change ?
If you have any other suggestions, feel free to comment here, of course, in a constructive way. I am still a human, offensive personal rude remarks will be deleted at my discretion :P
on the other hand, i noticed my blog is nearing 100,000 views.

You know, I like reading humour posts. But these are so few and far between. Humour anime is always a good combination.

I use the Antenna every day rather than looking at individual blogs. But your blog is one that catches my eye often (along with Kurogane, Heisei, Random Curiosity, etc.), so I’ve enjoyed your entries overall. I’ll agree with the above comment that humor is great. Your polls are fun, too.
I like episode reviews; heavy screencaps aren’t too necessary, but I like reading your thoughts after the synopsis (since I’ll have usually watched the episode, too, and won’t need the synopsis).
For me personally, keep reporting on new magazines (Megami, Comptiq), because I like to preview them before I buy. :D
The layout is good; doesn’t slow my computer down, and that’s really my only concern with layouts.

I’m a new reader, so I can’t really comment on what I’ve liked in the past…generally, the articles I’ve read have been quite good, IMHO. Just doing a quick scan of the archives…perhaps more movie reviews/recommendations?

Well if you’d like, i’m pretty interested in monthly mangas (even though it’s an irony since i’m trying to be spendthrift) and i can do regular reviews of them (my frequents are CompAce, CompTiq, Dgenki’Diaoh / as well as special edition releases of my favourite anime, like the DCIISpringCelebration special, the Lucky Star special, etc)
Oh and music reviews too, cuz it’s practically my life and there is never a quiet moment. ^^

I loiter around all the time for nice posts, and i am not attracted to episode summaries (since I view them rather fast myself). I do like my share of nice humor pieces or editorials. ^^

I look around here when I have the time ^_^ But I have no idea what I like around here…hm…I think I enjoyed the polls, episode summaries and um…I guess everything…I’m not sure of what I really like though…-.-”’
The layout and design is good, and I like it ^_^
