Makai Senki Disgaea 3’s a Nipon Ichi production for the Playstation 3, scheduled for a winter release this year. Predecessors of the game for the Playstation 2 received pretty much warmly received by the players overall. With the decision to have Disgaea 3 on the Playstation 3, will we expect some good graphics ? Apparently, by the trailer on the website and various sources, the graphics look a little better with some flashy smooth transitions of the effects.
Gameplay-wise, I shall not comment much but it seems to pack a bit more new additions to the gameplay. As seen in the trailer, there is this “towering” kind of skill where characters form a tower to reach higher places or attack enemies (lol). Looks cute and interesting.
Storywise, it takes place in this Netherworld academy and in this school, a good student is someone who ditches class and skips homework (lol), so if you guess it right, those who does homework and attend school punctually are delinquents. (wtf..lol). Mao, the main protagonist aims to be a honor student in the academy and overthrow his father (an overlord) and claims the throne for himself.
