I’ve been so busy that my frequent visits to Kino @ Taka were delayed for nearly two weeks :( NEVER do this if you’re anticipating a monthly manga issue that you REALLLYY WANT.

So I managed to haul my butt down on a sunny Sunday afternoon, hoping to grab something of otaku value. The only thing I got was more MAS* (Merchandise/Manga Acquisition Syndrome) from lots of “IWANT” books RANGE MURATA collections! If only someone started making short animated visuals of his work… Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usSHANA material seems to be very available, so available that i want it to be available in my bookshelves as well! Loli access a reach away from my humble abode, what more can i ask for. Well there was lots more but my friend kept hurrying me, so i didn’t take many pictures of the visual novels, art-books or special releases that would fall under my MANGA “Must And Need to Get ASAP” list. Oh, i did buy some awesome Japanese invention-pens which i’ll ‘review’ when I’m really bored. (click on photos to enlarge)

So to drown my sorrows, uguu~ it was time for some snacking! The Taiyaki stall @ Taka basement sells awesome Taiyaki, and Chocolate / Red Bean i reccomend. ***Taiyaki is like a pancake with filling in the middle and they come in various shapes, the most prevailing would be the fish shaped ones (go watch KANON) and in Singapore the simple circular shaped ones that look like a circular container (not a sphere) are quite popular too. The best part about Taiyaki IMO (in my opinion) is that you can snack on it when you’re feeling like u want-a-munch, you can eat it as a desert AND you can press it onto your friends shirt to make a nice design. The next snack was sort of a disappointment visually – I thought that buying a choco-coronet ala’ Konata-LuckyStar would make me feel like my eyes could go >_< and more. Well it turned out that the choco-coronet sold at the Santa Claus lookalike stall looked more like a very fat breadstick, with soft a creamy-like-melted-ice-cream-style chocolate filling, which was really おいしい!!! However, I was still quite ess-ey-dee=sad ’cause it wasn’t shaped like the ones in Lucky Star or in other bakeries. A trip to SUN MOULIN shall be on my list of things to do!
