[Overall Impressions]
When it comes to slice of life anime, I am always keen to see the different chapters of each character and the funny things that happen to each of them. Like what the prologue of the anime mentions, it is about the daily life of the 3 sisters which is kinda hilarious and full of laughter.
In general, I like the humor that’s featured in this episode, each character has their own unique personality and hence the kinds of humor varies with each of them (e.g. Chiaki’s seriousness and Kana’s madness is a lawl in contrast orz ). I wish I have such a hilarious life when I was in school (yea, I am a boring dud in my school days).
In this episode, we have the “mashiro-pan” bread-pantsu joke, “strange things that happen when you are with a guy”, “Chiaki giving nicknames to her friends” and all sort of madness. This anime is definitely one of my top faves, beating Bamboo Blade’s kind of humor. Do take note, there is another alternate Minami-ke which is slated for a 2008 release. More madness to come ?

Love this show, probably because I have siblings of my own and our interactions are somewhat like this. I also have a bunch of female cousins. Chiaki is indeed love love love.
