After a shaky first episode what type of memories will be injected with this time around?
[Summary]
So after the initial episode we’ve met all the characters many questions were left from the last episode.
The show starts off with the previous episode where Chihiro was asking to be friends with Renji, Chihiro then walks into the same church that Renji and Hiro have both visted in the past what could this church mean?
Hiro is sleeping at his desk with Kei just waking up, she attempts to wake him up several times with several methods, finally she decides to drop kick him from his sleep, she reprimands him about how little he goes to school and that they should get ready to leave.
on the way to school she continues to ay how poor he is doing in school. Upon arriving they part ways, Hiro meets up with Kyosuke who gives him a hard time about Kei and being “his girlfriend” to which he denies. Kyosuke is working on his film to which he can’t seem to get the right shots or edit in some way. Nothing really happens and we don’t know why in the world he is bothering or what the film is about.
Hiro decides to ditch class and goes to the roof and is doodling and nodding off. He then sees Miyako and he is surprised to see her, they talk about each others dreams about the future and what they want to happen to them.
Moving back to Chihiro, she enters the church to which that white haired adult is there telling her not to strain herself and asks if she let Renji know. She said no and that she doesn’t want to “get in to deep” but she asks about what if she does want to tell him, would that be ok.
The adult says it would be ok to let him know. In her room she text messages Kei to tell her that she is going to let Renji know about this thing. Kei replies back good luck.
Chihiro and Renji meet and talk about all kinds of things, we find out that Kei and Chihiro are twins and that she goes to the same school Renji does. Chihiro attempts to tell Renji her secret but gives up and steers the conversation to something else. One again seh tries to tell him but chickens out and runs home.
Confused Renji starts walking he runs into the guy at the church whos name is Yu Himura, Himura-san gives Renji a ominous message “If you want to be by her side you must be prepared”.
In her room she writes in her diary and says she doesn’t know what tomorrow or happiness is and begins to cry. The next day Renji and Chihiro meet and they walk to the beach. Finally Chihiro gets enough courage to tell Renji. But first she asks if he is still her friend, he akss why she would ask that again. He says that she means more to him then just a friend. With hearing that she knows he hasn’t changed so she tells him that she can’t remember things after 12 hours and that yesterday events are forgotten. She says she has a memory defect and that it’s always been like that.
On that note the show ends with an awesome ending theme.
[Impression]
I liked this episode so much better then the first I find Chihir’s and Renji’s arc much more interesting then Kei’s I have a feeling something is going to happen wit hRenji and Chihiro that will make them start dating.
The ending theme is so awesome to listen to and it’s all in English which is rare for anime.
