This is a fantastic horror anime. The animation quality is so mesmerizing that it fits this anime. Lots of blank spots were filled about what happen with Tarou and his sis. I wanna watch more! How do those 2 cases fit? The hostage incident and the suicide of Makoto’s dad. Next episode is called Phobia Exposure. These episode titles are very interesting. The artwork reminds me of Jigoku Shoujo. Even though I haven’t seen it, I have seen the artwork. Very entertaining.

Summary
In a dream, Tarou and his sister, when they were younger are arguing. His sister starts running and is caught by the kidnapper. Tarou then wakes up and records about the dream he had.

The next morning, Tarou is getting ready to go to school. When one of his dad’s visitors greet him and says that there is still no water in Suiten Dam. He then leaves riding on his bike to go to school.

Tarou is searching on the internet, but then Masayuki interrupts wondering about the hostage incident. Tarou says that they aren’t friends and leaves the classroom. Masayuki looks in the history finding out that Tarou was searching about out of body experiences and dreams.

Masayuki has been doing research on the incident and has learn a lot of info about it. He then talks about what he has learned. He states that on September 22, 1996, both Tarou and his sister, Mizuka went missing. The kidnapper demanded ransom from the family. The police had traced the cell phone called and the kidnapper ran but was run over by a truck and instantly died.

The kidnapper was Sukuai Yachio. The police had found Tarou and Mizuka in an abandoned hospital tied to beds. But sadly the sister did not make. Another case where, Makoto’s dad had committed suicide a week later. Somehow these two cases are connected, but no one has found evidence of connection between them.

Tarou has went up a whole bunch of stairs, following his dreams. A old man who was living in the shrine heard him, but Miyako steps in with a bag of grocerys.

Tarou moves onward just like he was in his out of body experience in his dream. However, he ends up in another dream. He runs the way he came from and ends up back in reality. He meets up with the Miyako, the girl that was in his dream in the first episode. He askes her if she saw him in his out of body experiences dreams. She says maybe.

Instead of hypotherapy, the psychologist uses E.M.D.R. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. All Tarou has to do is follow the psychologist’s finger from left to right to remember the past. He remembers his sister arguing to him, but cannot make out her face. As the memories grow more intense, he stops and the psychologist says that is enough for today.

Looks like Masayuki is digging up more info about the incident. As he looks down from the bridge, he makes a disgusted look. It shows the abandoned hospital again.
