[万歳! Figurine Review]
Figurine : Fujibayashi Kyou (Reproduction ver)
Manufacturer : Kotobukiya
Scale ratio : 1/8
Material : PVC
Producer : Hiroyuki Tsumezuka
Adaptation : CLANNAD
I have the time to relax a lil since it is a holiday today, took out my cam and whipped some quick shots at the first of my 3 CLANNAD figurines I got last weekend. Fujibayashi Kyou by Kotobukiya is packed into a little box as compared to the others due to the posture she had.
This is a reproduction of the original figurine which was released in 2005 and honestly, I am not sure of the differences except the boxart which indicated this is a reproduction. There is a magnet which goes with the design of a ribbon and a outline of Kyou in the middle of it as a “freebie”
I won’t say this figurine is some top notch figurine, there were noticeable flaws and some points to comment about it. Overall, it is still a good figurine in general. The main attraction I like about this figurine is pretty much on the hair detail (which is even more detailed than Nayuki). The beauty of Kyou revolves around the hair detail and also that ribbon she have tied on her hair. There is no grooves for you to “stick” the figurine to the stand hence, both are independent. You can choose to place your Kyou elsewhere and due to the wide base, it is stable.
The noticeable flaws on this figurine will be prolly those paint on the uniform around the hands and the knee stockings area.

Thanks to your purchase of Kyou, I hurried down to KKNM and bought Kyou Megami today. It was worth skipping school. ^_^
