As quoted from the website,
…the company who brought us Super Robot Taisen and Ar Tonelico is going to be dissolved into Namco Bandai starting April 1, 2008, technically Namco Bandai’s next fiscal year
That will be seriously bad news if there is no Ar Tonelico 2 for the North American people and also if Ar Tonelico series production will be put on hiatus. After all, this is an epic RPG we are talking about that does not involve eye candy graphics (yes there are nice gfx but not those sleek 3D kinds u are expecting). I am hoping they will continue Ar Tonelico 3 as the ending and the overall story hinted a sequel for the series.

Banpresto has been owned by Namco Bandai for years. This really doesn’t change anything, just some internal company restructuring.
Granted, this could pose a problem for Ar Tonelico 2. Ar Tonelico was brought over by NISA, but now that Banpresto and Bandai Namco have merged, I’m not sure Bandai Namco (which has its own American localization branch) would hand the title over.
