ADV Films has officially announced that Vol1 of Kanon will be launched on 1st Jan 08. Yes what a good date, I guess I am out of budget to buy this…arghz. Well, click here to watch the trailer. To be honest, I couldn’t get used to the dubs.

Meh, the ayu voice isn’t too bad, what’s worse is that the trailer narrator near the end said “from the makers of Air TV and the melancholy of HURAHI suzumiya” o_O

This is probably not the fault of the narrator because you can’t botch the reading this bad, he is probably reading from a script that was wrong in the first place - anyone remember the “Hurai Suzumiya” typo on the ADV AIR site? That’s probably what he was given to read. However it also means the manager of this failed to catch it, the editor of the video failed to catch it, and whoever okay-ed the video failed to catch it. Seriously, not *one* person in the entire production process of this trailer catched this in an anime localization company who’s suppose to be one of the main players in NA? With this many level of failures, this is just epic lose.
