  • The opening of Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations is called “Synchronicity” by Yui Makino. It has a nice flow. I really like the song. Works well as expected of Yui Makino. In the opening sequence, it shows different objects spiraling in a circle. Maybe they did that to not show any spoilers since it is a 3 episode OAV.

“Saigo no Kajitsu” by Maaya Sakamoto is the ending theme. This gives me a feel of encouragement. I like the opening better, but still their both equally match.

It’s finally here. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations.!! Just need to wait for subs and then I will write a post for it =DDDD Yipperrr!

Anything Yui Makino does is pure win. ANYTHING. The ending is pretty good too though. It does well to show off how awesome the art has become at least. Tsubasa Chronicle FTW!

I agree !!!! Yui Makino is great!!

I just figure out about the circles in the opening. The first one is Clow’s magic circle and the third one is Syaoran’s Rashinban from CCS. The second one is i don’t know. I think its belongs to the evil side or something.

Regarding the magic circles. The first one is not actually Clow Reed’s magic circle as it doesn’t contain the sun but only the moon, it is a variation of it which appears when the Yukito in Tsubasa uses magic. This can be explained by reference to the fact the Yukito’s magic, like his counterpart in CCS, derives his magic power from the moon. The second magic circle (glyph is more appropiate) is Yuuko’s magic circle. The third magic circle is in fact Syaoran’s magic circle, as it relates to the rashinban of CCS’s Syaoran as well as to the concept of ying-yang which is central to the magic of Clow Reed, Syaoran’s distante relative (in CCS as well as in Tsubasa, a fact not yet fully explained in the manga.)
