[Summary]

The show starts off with Kei remembering the time as kids with Chihiro and Hiro playing as kids. She mentions how she never knew what it was like to be alone and Hir omentions that he didn’t know what it would be like to be close with anyone.

Flash forward to the present time, Chihiro is reading a book, Renji puts a stuffed bird on her head and apologizes for breaking his promise to her. She makes it clear that she doesn’t really remember it but accepts it. Renji this asks her if they can write a novel together.

Chihiro becomes upset over this and wonders why would Renji ask such a thing and runs off. Kyosuke is laying on a bench remembering what his girlfriend said to him about not being able to understand him and he silently agrees with her he then goes to the cinema review club room and gathers his things. The present asks what will happen and he says he wants to make a movie by himself but there is one picture that he can’t seem to get.

Next Kei is in bed remembering what had happened with Hiro and Miyako she then gets a phone call from Mizuki about the manga they are going to buy hut the conversation turns to Hiro she says that she borrowed him money so he had some food. Late while at a book store she finds a cook book and wants to suprise hiro with a home cooked meal.

While all that is going on Miyako has caught up with Hiro again and she wants to go out ot eat but him having no money he says no plus he has Manga to write and draw. So they go to his house where she is surprised about how good the house looks.

Miyako is very interested in reading Hiro’s manga so she begs and pleads until she gets to read one. Hiro then starts to remember about how he started doing manga was because of Kei and Chihiro and how they loved seeing him draw.

Miyako finishes reading hte manga and delays saying what she thought about it, Hiro gets nervous and finally she admits it was good and asks for more ot read. Kei has begun preparing food she made some rices balls that turn out to be very bad, some comedy ensues about how bad the food is and she should never cook again. Later on Mizuki takes a call from Kei about cooking some pork and the pan bursts into flames and she must again help Kei with her cooking.

Again at Hiro’s place Hiro has decided to take a break, while he was busy Miyako had made dinner, Hiro is very hesitant to eat anything prepared by a girl. Eventually Hiro comes around and takes a bite of her food to his surprise is very good. Miyako says that he is holding his chop sticks weird and goes to help him, he drops the chop sticks and holds his hand in pain.

He tells her that he has tendinitis due to drawing so much she apologizes and attempts to feed him. Suddenly Kei comes walking though the door to find Miyako feeding Hiro, she begins to cry and leaves the house.

on a beach Renji runs after Chihiro and catches up with her, he asks why they can’t give the novel idea a chance and she turns around and gets angry with Renji that he is being mean and why he again would ask such questions. She says that she doesn’t matter and that she can only remember for 13 hours. Suddenly a big wave comes up and knocks over Chihiro, she is almost swept out to sea but Renji grabs her.

Surprised he asks why he saved her but Renji never gives an answer, Renji then asks Chihiro if he can kiss her, she says no because he was mean to her today but if it was yesterday he could have because she was lonely. She asks to be held because he is warm.

Chihiro says they can work on the novel together, Renji then asks what type of story it would be, she says that it would be the world has gone into ruins and there is only one surviving girl left. Kei is sitting on some setps and Mizuki sees her crying, she asks whats wrong and nothing is all that Kei replies.

We then see that she is sitting on the steps of the church, Mizuki asks to try one of her sandwiches that Kei had prepaired, again it isn’t right because there is nothing in the bread except the veggies! she begans to cry again.

[Impression]

The story seems to be getting more and more interesting each episode I’ve been enjoying it throughly. I’m still amazed at the detail of art used in this show I mean look at the last two screen grabs, the water in the fountain and the light and darks used in the night again the church backdrop. I know this was all done by computer but STILL I’m so used to watching anime / cartoons with not that real backgrounds or people!
