Looks familiar, doesn’t it?

[Summary]

After escaping from the Country of Record by Fay’s magic, Syaoran, Kurogane, Fay, Mokona, and Sakura end up in a new world. Mokona is questioning Fae because he refrain from using magic. Fay claim it was a different kind of magic he never used before. The magic uses sound which differs from the magic that he usually uses.

Syaoran tries to remember what had happen in the Country of Record, but he can only remember up to when the library’s guardian had blown him away. Everything else is a blank. He feels a strange feeling in his leg: the feeling of defeating something.

Sakura is unconscious. Then she hears a voice calling out to her to wake up. As the group is walking, Syaoran notices that the rocks are round and the wind alone could not do such a thing. It starts raining, but not the normal kind of rain, but rain that burns anything it touches. The group flees to a nearby building and sees inside many people killed by arrows.

Syaoran and Mokona goes further inside because Mokona can feel a strong presence under the building. A swarm of arrows start flying at Syaoran. Syaoran dodges most of them, but loses his balance and gets caught by the leg. A group of hooded people appear. Thinking that Syaoran is a thief, they ask Kamui, the leader, what he will do. Kamui takes off his hood and shoots more arrows. Since Syaoran is wounded, he cannot move.

Kurogane throws a rock to block the arrow from attacking Syaoran. Kurogane tells Mokona to give him his sword and both Kurogane and Kamui have a fierce battle. Each exchanging hard blows at each other. First Kurogane smashes into rubble. Then Kurogane counter attacks by knocking Kamui up at the ceiling. Kamui is unhurt and his eye changes color. He leaves to go to the underground leaving his men to take care of Syaoran and his group.

Everyone takes off their hoods. Fay holding Sakura comes out from hiding. Kurogane wonders what is this underground. It is reveal to contain water. Kamui’s henchmen thought Syaoran and his group were here to steal the water. Mokona explains that they come from a place that is far away. Kamui is now underground staring at the water. Mokona still feels the strong presence of power underneath. Kakkyo with the long white hair assist Syaoran with his wound.

Sakura still unconscious hears the voice of someone waking her. Syaoran is getting bandage up. Kusunagi says that the acid rain has been here for 15 years. The water above group can no longer be drinkable. So the water under this building and the tower are valuable.

Kamui is still underground staring at the water. When night has fallen, Syaoran has fallen asleep beside Sakura. Fay watches and doesn’t want Sakura to wake up. Kurogane is bother by Fay because of using his magic. He didn’t use it the other times when they were almost dying. Fay admits that he doesn’t want anyone to be upset because of his involvement. Kusunagi interrupts the conversation asking to see one of them. Fay voluteers it be Kurogane. Kurogane is not letting him off the hook and should worry of whats to come. Fay sits against the walk laughing silently saying that it is too hard to do such a thing.

Sakura is dreaming that she is underwater hearing a voice trying to get her out of her dream. She is dazzle by a ball of light. Meanwhile, Syaoran, Fa, and Mokona and some of Kamui’s henchmen are heading outside to kill giant worms. After killing 2 of them, the people from the tower come.

They are after the water. After hearing this, Kamui attacks Fuuma, but gets caught by the hand. Fuuma sees that Kamui is moving slower than usual because of what happen with him and Kurogane. Kamui swings his arm and tosses Fuuma in the air, but Fuuma lands perfectly on his feet. The tower is under attack, so Fuuma and his people have to leave.

Syaoran, Fay, and Mokona learn that Kamui was just like them. He had come in Tokyo 2 years ago. They thought that he was trying to steal the water, but actually he was searching for something. Sakura is still in the dream, but she cannot wake up. Kurogane finds out the Sakura has stop breathing.

Kamui points a crossbow at Syaoran because he won’t allow him to go to the underground. Fay stands in the way. Then Mokona begins shouting out that they are searching for something that is important to Sakura. Kamui lowers the cross bow and doesn’t see them as danger.

The Syaoran that was sealed away has awoken. Xing Huo doesn’t do anything, but lends her power so that he is able to cross dimensions. He askes why and she says “The dream must end.” This Syaoran ends up meeting with the dimensional witch, Yuuko.

Yesss!!! Tsubasa is finally back and good!! Watching this seem like season 2 never existed. So they went from the Country of Record to Tokyo. When I first heard Kamui’s voice, I was like it’s Setsuna’s voice from Gundam 00. They did exactly just like the manga, but some parts might have been change. The fighting between Kamui and Kurogane was excellent. The animation looks much better than in the TV series. Too bad that they are only doing the Tokyo arc. I hope they choose to finish it to the end.

So both of the Syaorans are now both awake and more secrets will be expose. Why did I have to read the manga?? I should’ve waited. My favorite character right now is Kamui. Now I have to wait until January for the new episode.

@Akiraman: the first season was awesome!! the second season was good in some parts but then it got draggy along the worlds. be careful about the second season. like you could watch the second season until Syaoran and his group end up at the country of record and then switch to the OAV.
