I want to thank everyone for making the forums fun. But due to spammers I just don't want to deal with it. They make hundreds of accounts and spam the living hell out of the forums.
so on that note I'm taking them offline due to very little use and I'm not watching my bandwidth bill be sucked up my spammers.

This user from NicoVideo decided to make a 3D VS 2D [3次元 VS 2次元] comparison with 2D Drawn Sailor uniform Girls with real ones 3D (Idols I presume).
I personally Like the 2D ones but some of the real pictures poses look close to the 2D poses. Coincidence? Maybe the artists were looking at the same real life pics??? Warning Some pics are Really eechi!!!

In my experience, most Japanese schoolgirls are either not particularly concerned about the aesthetics of their uniforms, or if they are, not concerned with wearing them the way they’re supposed to be worn. Rather than the above, they either have a tracksuit on underneath, or their skirt hiked up too far, gigantic loose socks, too much makeup, and dyed hair.
(To be fair, Japanese schoolboys show the same sorts of things with their own uniforms — not fastening the collar, leaving the gakuran unbuttoned, wearing things they’re not supposed to underneath, or having really garish belts that wouldn’t show if they were wearing their uniforms properly, but do anyway because they aren’t. Guess it’s just all part of “rebellion” or something.)
Note, however, that my experience is based on teaching at a public school, so your mileage may vary at a private institution where they actually enforce uniform guidellines.
