The official Japanese homepage for the upcoming S.A (”Special A”) anime television series based on Minami Maki’s shoujo romance manga is now open. The anime is scheduled to premier next year.
An anime about pro wrestling. I’ve never watch an anime about pro wrestling. I’m convince! Comparing this with the manga’s art, they look different from one another if you look here. They made Hikari look really wimpy when she looks tough and they also did that to the others. This is animated by Gonzo and AIC. I’ll still check this out when it gets release. Shall this be worth to watch?

The pro-wrestling was just a small part between the two main characters, not the main plot. I felt a bit the same of Hikari’s anime design too, but official sites can fool us to what the designs are like when animated.

i never read the manga and i look it up at mangaupdates and it say it was about pro wrestling.
@xiaoyun: the announced date hasn’t been mention and the only data i have is that it will be released next year

Not about pro-wrestling. I mean, it does start the rivalry but it’s just a bit of what happens. I don’t think Mangaupdates knows what they’re talking about. After about two volumes, they kind of drop the pro wrestling and go into other issues. It’s been referred to being like Kare Kano: His and Her Circumstances.
I’m dissapointed with how all the characters look. ;3; I wish they were prettier like how they look like in the manga. I’m pretty sure the manga will be better than the show but eh, still gonna watch.
