In Spring of 2008, Code Geass will air on Adult Swim.
Bandai has also licensed and will sell the three separate manga series (Lelouch of the Rebellion, Suzaku of the Counterattack, and Nightmare of Nunnally) and one light novel series. Figures and product goods will also be sold in the US. Among the merchandise planned is a Lelouch jacket, pendants, bracelets, and notebooks.
The new website for the show will be going live at code-geass.bandai-ent.com on Monday, December 10.
[Thoughts]
I’m wondering how the dub will sound. Most dubs aren’t really good, but some are okay. I prefer Japanese with English subs because there is more emotion to it than English dubs. I am most curious about the person who is gonna play Lelouch. Johnny Yong Bosch has voice for Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, Micheal from GUNxSWORD, and others. I never watch those, but I have my fingers cross that his voice will be good for Lelouch. Of course, I will explore the site when it becomes live.
Another thing that I can’t wait for Code Geass is the second season. I believe that the promo will show on December 21, 2007. I’m a huge fan for Code Geass!!! It’s the BEST. I WANT MOREEEEEE!!!

Wow, someone else that actually cares about English dubs! Good going. This cast could go very well, or very badly… we’ll just have to see.

I started watching this series but stopped after the 8th episode or so due to it’s blatant right wing and racist writing. You guys do realise this anime has a political agenda, right?

@ Brad
In what way Brad? What was keeping me off this show was I thought it would end up another typical Gundam storyline.

although,i don’t like your reviews of these anime shows, i go look foward to watch Code Geass. honesty, i don’t care care the japanese verison of Code Geass. Jun Fu-whatever is terrible actor and i olny hear glibberish sounds and high pits. i not interested of the stupid second season of this garbage of Japan rebellion stuff while trying to figure it out in English. Skip it until the next dub out in 2009

Jesus, Johnny Yong Bosch is in EVERYTHING now, isn’t he? It seems kind of like people’re just sticking him in as main character in stuff regardless of how badly it fits his range.
I love you as Guy and Vash, Johnny, but you kinda don’t have any range.
Same to you, Steve Blum.
