    • Banzai Beat forums going away

I want to thank everyone for making the forums fun. But due to spammers I just don't want to deal with it. They make hundreds of accounts and spam the living hell out of the forums.

so on that note I'm taking them offline due to very little use and I'm not watching my bandwidth bill be sucked up my spammers.

Thanks again and look forward to a new episode in the coming days.

    Ghost Hound - 07

Posted in Ghost Hound, Series Reviews at Dec 12th, 2007 by choco /

By sending shock waves into your brain, you are able to see ghosts, aliens, angels and even Gods. Professor Persinger discovered such thing. Many facts were listed about the human brain. What intrigued me was learning about if you damaged a part of your brain what would happen to your memory. If you fear something in the past greatly, you would remember it more easily.

If the hippocampus was damaged, you would remember what you did 5 minutes ago. The connection between the optic nerve and the amygdala is severed, you will begin to think that your relatives are impostors when they aren’t really. Masayuki jump on that one. Does he think his family are imposters? Continuing on, you might think that your dead and can smell rotting flesh. That is called Cotard’s Syndrome. Memory is everywhere in your brain. So to say, if you damaged any part of your brain you would lose any memory.

Instead of Out of Body Experiences, for Taro this time it was In Brain Experiences. I don’t know what it’s call, but it makes sense. In his brain, an unknown figure hits him with this white stuff. He believes that it his sis, but I don’t believe that it is so because it didn’t seem like it to me. At first thought, I believe that was the one that abducted him, but I’m doubting myself on that.

Masayuki is becoming more friendly to Taro since they are experiencing somewhat of the same thing. He came to visit Taro at the hospital and looks like Masayuki had another O.B.E. again. On the other hand, Makoto really wants to know why his father attempted suicide. What’s so bad about Makoto’s dad? The guy who Makoto was finding infor from about his dad freaked when he found out that he was Ogami’s son. Adding that he resembles his father a lot.

Masayuki is angered by his dad for not caring for him. Hearing him repeatedly saying “Damn” and then screaming at the end. He could just fall into a nervous breakdown.

Second Time, Taro has his In Brain Experience. This time though the unknown figure talks to him about his sis being dead. Then he gets drag into different part of his body.

While walking down the pathway, Makoto sees this tormented figure running from behind the building and into the streets getting engulf by a large truck. How is this connected to Makoto? Shouldn’t it been Taro who had seen this becuase his incident was related to something like that? Every episode always leaves me confused. The art just makes it worthwhile!
