After reading Orion’s post for the second day of christmas about Potemayo and seeing those screencaps of Guchuko scything a door in half and then taping it back together, I was convinced on watching this. Who knew that I had past such a great anime? This was too adorable for words.

The origin of Potemayo’s name was just random as heck. Potato and Mayonnaise and Fluffy, put those together and you get the name Potemayo!

It was funny that Potemayo wouldn’t let Mikan have Sunao =D Even attack Mikan when she got close to Sunao.

Too bad that it wasn’t Potemayo that got everyone’s attention, it was Guchuko. The best part of Guchuko is whenever she scythes something in half, she tapes it back together. LOL

The strong energy beams coming out of her horns made Guchuko’s more awesome!

This was the cutest show! Lets just say that whoever passes this sucks because this was pure fun. Now I want a Guchuko plushy if such thing exists. I need to watch the rest of this. I wonder how much tape Guchuko uses throughout the whole anime. Must be a lot. Just a word of advice: Never skip an anime until you at least see the first episode because then you might be missing on a good anime. How did Potemayo and Guchuko end up in Sunao’s refrigerator?

Always glad to see someone more Potemayo fans, it was my fave show when it aired and there’s still a few more DVD special eps to come :D

I’m guessing they evolved from something in Sunao’s refrigerator (from what happens near the end of the show), probably something his dad picked up on his journeys around the world.

Actually Guchuko came out of Kyou’s fridge. But she’s still cute. And wait until you meet Kyou’s mother…and Nene with Mutou. Seriously this show was great. Totally underrated.

I always seem to discover these sites late.

I recently saw the episodes and posted it at potemayo.ca, it was such a lovely show.

I am shocked at how little press this anime series got
