Miyako has the ability to sense things around her and see those things that she senses. That is how she is able to see Taro when he experiences O.B.E. I don’t get how that works. Just by sensing you can see what others can’t. That’s impossible but somehow Miyako can do it.

Did Masayuki have acrophobia (fear of heights)? No, he didn’t. What he did in the past has caused this traumatic effect on him which form acrophobia since the incident did happen on the rooftop of a school building. In conclusion, he never initially had acrophobia. He try to suppress the past by focusing on something else that was causing him trouble in the present.

What happened with Makoto and his mother? Hearing about his mother in Kumada, he became outraged. Makoto has a lot of family problems.
