2008 is gonna be an exciting year, ain’t it? The Higurashi Live Action Trailer has released onto the official website. The director will be Ataru Oikawa. The movie will come out on Spring of 2008.

Will this be as good as the anime? The part I want to see the most is where Rena and Keiichi battle on the rooftop even though that’s at the end. This is a movie, so I’m thinking there will be stuff missing. Also, the ones creating it could add more to the story than what there already is. Guess what? When you think Higurashi the anime is over, another season (3rd season) has been announced for a 2008 release. Aren’t you excited to get more Higurashi? Both movie and 3rd season of the anime are gonna released sometime in 2008. Looks like 2008 is Higurashi year.

THIS LOOKS AMAZING. I’m so excited just to watch the trailer. And as for the roof battle with Rena and Keiichi, I think it’s supposed to be only the Onikakushi-hen arc. But I hope I’m wrong; I’d also like to see the rooftop battle! Hey, if they only do one arc, though, maybe they’ll make many movies with each arc! :D

I don’t think it’s Onikakushi-hen, Shion wasn’t in that arc, and Shion is listed in the cast. It could be Watanagahi-hen, or a four hour movie including all four Question arcs.

The movie is only on the first Arc and that it… it would be nice to see them do another one but guess we’ll have to wait and see… and yes there is a Death Note live action movie… theirs 3 to be exact… they just finished the translations to English for the first one^^ I saw it and I have to say I’m very happy with it!

The rooftop scene will NOT be in this movie, because the movie is the adaptation of the first arc ONLY! Episode 1 to 4. What really intriged me is that Shion is in the cast…. but Shion dosen’t appear before episode 5…. Hum…. Well we’ll soon know that!
I really can’t wait to see this film! And the most cool thing I’ve learn is that a sequel is already in shooting! ;)
