kappuchu~!
[Overall Impressions]
After watching this, all I can say that it looks like a cross of Zero no Tsukaima’ cute fanservice and Tenjou Tenge/Ikkitousen’s action plus fanservice to me.
Yes, I said fanservice twice. Why? Because if I took screenshots of all the pantsu shots and posted it here, your finger would probably hurt from the scrolling.
Tsukune’s poor grades render him unable to attend any usual High School. His parents, however, manage to get him enrolled in some far off academy by the name Youkai Gakkuen. As the name implies, it is a school for monsters. On his way there, he bumps into Akashiya Moka, our vampire girl and heroine.
The first episode largely follows the manga, with the usual adaptations of course. If they continue this way, I have a rough idea of what to expect from this series. Apart from the pointless pantsu shots, the story seems fine and interesting. Watching the whole school hate Tsukune’s guts for having such a cute girl stick so close to him was a laugh. And the parts where Moka kissed…sry, sucked his blood was amusing too. I could do without the mahou shoujou style transformation scene though since she didn’t change much anyway. A simple Ichigo (Bleach) bankai style would be more effective (and less cheesy). You know, a *boom* with some energy blasting around in the background…Nevermind. However, the part where the bats peeled off was kinda cool. On a side note, I don’t think I will be writing about this one though.
In all something interesting to watch. In the manga, the action gets pretty good when more of the girls with their abilities join in. But then, that would depend on GONZO wouldn’t it? One thing’s for sure, expect more fanservice.

I was actually quite looking forward to the start of this series, but was disappointed by how GONZO pulled it off. Sure, its a harem series, but what’s the point of throwing in all the fanservice? And they screwed up Moka’s transformation scene…
Though Nana Mizuki is awesome. My heart totally melted when I heard her talking. :D

hearing her voice is good enough yeah Mako’s transform scence could be better but hey its a harem anime so fanservice is in order ^^

Ya, Nana Mizuki is awesome! But…it has more fanservice than the manga has so…I was really shocked. It’s okay for fanservice but it’s still…a little too much…
