Went down to the SOY 08 Cosplay Event at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on the 26th of Jan and boy was I not disappointed! Although this is the first cosplay event I have ever participated, I must say the cosplayers and the organisers did a great job! Kudos to the Japanese Tsubasa Club a.k.a JTC (the organisers) for doing this event as well as the cosplayers who made my first cosplay event an immensely enjoyable one.

The event featured an individual cosplay competition as well as a group cosplay competition. Both of which you will find no photos of in here because:-
1) The lighting in the theatre was not very good and my shots mostly came up screwed (either that or I suck at photography)
2) I suck at photography
3) My camera is not exactly powerful enough to deal with all those guys with all the big flashbulbs
4) I suck at photography
5) …Did I mention I suck at photography?

In the individual cosplay competition, the contestants had to randomly pick 3 questions out of a pool of 5 questions to answer.
Q1) What would you do if you could rule the world?
Q2) Tell us about your character.
Q3) Tell us about the anime/game that your character is from.
Q4) Show/Demonstrate to us a pose or phrase from your character.
Q5) If you were walking alone on a street and you saw a neko (cat) what would you do?
Q5 came up alot and some of the answers by the cosplayers really cracked everyone up. ^^
