    CLANNAD – 17

Posted in CLANNAD, Series Reviews at Feb 9th, 2008 by Setsukyie / 10 Comments »

The choir club decided to share their adviser, Koumura with the drama club after they saw the basketball match. Despite the happy news, the school council didn’t agree with their decision because they don’t want an adviser handling 2 clubs. Then, poor Nagisa fainted …

Poor Nagisa.. It must have been rough for her..

They took Nagisa home afterwards.. Her father and mother thanked them, especially to Tomoya for bringing Nagisa home. But Tomoya felt that he didn’t do anything…

    Next morning…

Tomoyo came to Tomoya’s house to wake him up (lucky for you Tomoya). Tomoya was surprised to see Tomoyo in his room (yea, who doesn’t..). Tomoyo said that Tomoya’s father let her in. Then, Tomoya became quiet after he heard Tomoyo mentioned about Tomoya’s father.. Ok, enough of the ‘Tomoya and Tomoyo confusion thing’. Guess who they decided to visit next…

Please, do share it with me too..

    ……..

    Sunohara wa ecchi desu..ne…

They went to school afterwards. Then, Kyou invited Tomoya to have lunch with her and Ryou..

Just what I needed… What else can you do Kyou-sama?

Ryou is unsure about hitting on Tomoya because she thinks that she is being mean to Nagisa. Kyou says that it’s ok because Tomoya and Nagisa are not going out…

Tomoya and Sunohara met up with Tomoyo after school. They decided to go home together. Well, Tomoyo was the one who wants to go home with Tomoya and Sunohara was not invited. Sunohara took them to a place where lots of delinquents hang out. Those delinquents seem to be afraid of Tomoyo. After that, they went home…

    I see…

    The following morning…

    Tomoya was woken up Tomoyo..again…

    Lucky guy…

    Next off, to Sunohara’s place…

Haven’t learned from your mistakes desu ne…

Tomoya had lunch with Kyou and Ryou again that day. This time, Ryou was the one who cooked their lunch. Unfortunately, Ryou’s cooking isn’t as good as her sister’s cooking.

Tomoya spent the rest of the day in the Drama Club room. He seems lonely without Nagisa…

Tomoya visited Yukine afterwards. Yukine taught Tomoya a spell.. What kind of spell is it?

What kind of spell is that…

Tomoya wanted to be locked in a gym room with Nagisa. But Nagisa is taking a break, so Kyou will do.. What the..how dare he…

Tomoya met with Kyou after that. And the spell worked it’s magic. Some interesting things happened during this scene..heh…

    Ok then, moving on…

If I can’t forget about it, don’t expect Tomoya to do so..

The dispel spell worked too and they got out. Kyou wondered what would have happened if they were in their for an hour..(really..). Kyou also apologized for acting weird and she wants Tomoya to forget about what just happened..

Tomoyo approached Tomoya and they went home together again..(just how lucky can you get..).

On their way home, they saw some really nice people waiting for Tomoyo at the school gates. The really nice people were looking for a fight with Tomoyo. Then Sunohara showed up to help Tomoyo. Sunohara wasn’t the only one who showed up though…

    This really destroyed the mood…

Enough of that, let’s move on to the fight…

The teachers showed up and the delinquents ran away.. The teachers asked for an explanation. Tomoya took all the blame for what had happened so that Tomoyo won’t get into trouble…

I have to say that this episode is totally awesome. I loved the scene in the gym room. After I saw Kyou’s reactions in that scene, it made me think that maybe Kyou is interest in Tomoya too (just like everyone else). Just like Kyou, Tomoyo is also great in this episode. I don’t know if Tomoyo already realized that she likes Tomoya after seeing Tomoya so much in this episode. The same goes for Kyou too..

Nagisa didn’t have much role in this episode as she only appeared in the beginning. Nagisa’s absence is not so bad because thanks to that we can see more of Kyou goodness (and Tomoyo too). Although, Tomoya wasn’t happy about it and so he misses Nagisa. Now he understands that all the time he spent with Nagisa have some sort of meaning..(hopefully)

I’m still not sure who’s story this episode is focusing on… Kyou/Ryou or Tomoyo?
