“I has a gun, what I do wif it?”
More Fumika kick ass action this episode! As well as a revelation!
Topic of the episode is friends (Hence the title). I’m sure we all have friends (unless you happen to be a hikikomori like this). However, how many of them are merely aquaintances whom will fade with the passing of time and how many are those who will stay with you as you walk down the road called “life”? How many do you truly understand and likewise they, you? Unfortunately for me, I’m pretty much half a hikikomori so I dun have many friends… *sob*

The part about jumping was pretty creepy. Disillusionment about life is a pretty real topic after all. While I have never considered suicide, I did sometimes look from a tall building and wonder how long it would take for me to go splat if I jumped. And now Hiyuu is probably gonna call the ambulance to send me to the loony bin. Oh well. ^^

“it is a proven fact that anime benefits society…”
The part about how the media runs away with events like this is also, sadly, rather true to life. How wonder how many lives the mass media has ruined in their chase for a good scoop?
Fumika’s past is revealed as we discover that Kaname, incidentally Nojima-san’s son, seems to know Fumika. Moreover, he calls her “Mikawa”, who is likely to be the girl he knew who killed her father, most likely with the semi-auto Fumika is using.

Sleeping Beauty…
We also get a glimpse of a girl lying unconcious(?) in a hospital bed. If Fumika is another of those out of body existences like Ayu in Kanon or Fuuko in CLANNAD then I think this tactic as a plot device is really getting old.
Anyway, it looks like Noji-san and his son Kaname will mostly likely figure as the mainstay characters in this show, considering the link to Fumika.

Fumika’s phrase of the episode, “I’m just a courier. It is not my job to help people.” Way to say it girl!

O.o
Judging from the preview, looks like hot Yuri next episode!!! お楽しいみに!
