As the title promises, we find out more about Fumika’s father. Guess I was right, he is every bit the psychotic nutcase that he seems to be. Guess it takes one to know one eh? Though I can assure you that I in no way look anything like him.
No don’t jump!
We start with a very nice scene of a girl jumping off a building. Seems she is a fan of Mikawa Kirameki’s books. Wow… books that make you want to commit suicide… O.o
Kasai Haruno works at a publishing company and is dispatched on a visit to Kirameki’s house, a warped shiny building of sorts. (see right)
Her sister Natsuka, who is the girl Nojima Kaname previously contacted for information on Fumika, gets a visit from him. He finds out about Haruno’s visit and decides to go as well to gain more information on Fumika. Natsuka, who has the hots for him, tags along.
Fumika gets assigned the letter for the aforementioned nameless suicide girl. Turns out it is addressed to Mikawa Kirameki.
As all 3 parties converge at Kirameki’s preposterous excuse of a home, a showdown looms in the horizon!

Same person, or twins?
Quite an interesting episode as we find out from Fumika that Kirameki has lost not only his wife but his daughterS as well. Gah? So who is the other daughter?
Not only that, Fumika’s detour to the hospital to visit the sleeping Fumika shows a few interesting things. Like how she refers to the sleeping girl as “Fumi-chan”, as if she was a different person, and how she mentions that said person is a “piece of her”. Is the sleeping girl really Fumika or the other daughter? Are we looking at twins here? If not then maybe split personality?
I ain’t nuts, I just like writing on other people’s arms…
Kirameki’s psychotic character is very clearly revealed in his conversation with Haruno, not to mention his extreme obsession with beauty. Most likely that could be the reason for the sad state of his family? And maybe also the reason for Fumika shooting him? Also, he seems very obsessed with wrists too as he grabs Haruno’s wrist/arm to write on. I wonder what he is looking for?
Fumika’s hatred towards Kirameki is very evident. I wonder what is it exactly that makes it so?
Also, if Fumika shot Kirameki, why is he still alive and she dead? (or semi-dead as the case may be)
Anyway, thanks to Kaname’s intervention, this happened. Idiot boy >.>

All this sets the stage for the next episode [ハジマリ], or [The Beginning]. We delve deeper into the past and hope have more light shedupon this sad situation.

On a side note, we also get a glimpse of the world of the dead. It seems the staves need recharging after use. Listening to Matoma’s orgasms as he charges earned a laugh from me lol. Looks like they employ quite the number of postmen/women/lolis.
