First up, this is no review post. I just felt that this milestone warranted a mention. All the training for Yuji finally pays off as he proceeds to kick the ass of a poor unfortunate Jaeger. While it is true that a Jaeger isn’t exactly much of a fight, it does signify the important change in Yuji’s mindset as well as his capabilities. Not only can he now defend himself, he shows remarkable composure and analytical ability in his situation. So much so that even Wilhelmina acknowledges this. That’s saying something.

That episode was freaking awesome. Yuji kicked Zarovee’s ass, though he was just a Jaeger, he did dispatch him in very awesome ways–the neck crush and the Blutsauger throw. I hope Yuji gets stronger soon because there are only five episodes left, I hope stronger than Shana.
