A very adorable Nagisa

The School Festival is nearing and so does the final episode. The episode mainly focuses on the preparations done by the Drama Club for the school festival and they did a rehearsal too. 1 episode left and they decided to do this. I was expecting that there would be more ’shocking’ events happening in this episode but not much here. Here’s CLANNAD 21..

The episode starts off with some meaningless tongue twisters by the Drama Club. Well, the tongue twisters are not really meaningless but it seems out of place. KyoAni should spend time on the story more by now rather than doing this. I mean, there’s 1 more episode left..

Unlike previous Key adaptations done by KyoAni, Clannad sure have a lot of fanservices. You don’t see these things often in Kanon and Air. The only fanservice that I remember in Kanon was the Makoto with the towel and I never saw any fanservices in Air, or I can’t remember any. I don’t really like these kind of things to be excessive. At least Clannad is not as bad as Rosario + Vampire which has really excessive fanservices.. That alone made me dropped the anime..

Akio: I WILL KILL YOU!

Just like Tomoya, I was surprised to hear this coming from Nagisa as well. I think that Nagisa have saw one before but for ’some’ reason that happens a lot in animes of the same genre, she forgot about it. But I was more surprised that Akio didn’t kill Tomoya for doing that. Lol..

“That girl will cry at anything” said DS. Agreed. Sometimes I find it as annoying. Although, If Kyou did this, I will cry alongside with her. Because Kyou rarely cries. But still, Nagisa is such a sweet girl..

What is that..

Lol. I didn’t realize this one until Crisu mentioned about it. It looks like a soggy cigarette as a result of Tomoya spitting in his face. Maybe he smokes cigarette to show that he is GAR. He is still GAR even if he doesn’t smoke anything..

A meganekko Tomoyo is fine too..

Tomoyo says that she doesn’t really like the look of wearing glasses. For me (and perhaps everyone else too), she looks good while wearing glasses. Just like Mai of Kanon, she wore glasses when the series is nearing it’s end..

Kyou-sama, you are still the one for me..

I don’t know why Kyou did this. Does she still have something against Tomoyo? Or does she wear contact lenses? Well, whatever the reason is, she is still the most awesome character in Clannad.

Even though Tomoya says that Nagisa is good and all but I can’t imagine Nagisa being in a play. Maybe because her voice doesn’t fit to be in a play. Just what I though of..

That uniform looks kind of similar to the ones in Kanon. The colors are not the same and some details are not present in this one though.

KyoAni shows off their ability to animate stuff. As usual, I was amazed at it. I might even watch a shounen anime if the animation is done by KyoAni.

They are alike aren’t they. But Akio is more ‘advanced’ than Tomoya. This is how father and son relationship should be, not like the one shown by Tomoya’s real father. Which reminds me, what is his real father doing anyway..

A scary Nagisa is NOT fine..

I never though that Nagisa will show that look. Not to mention that the same look occurs in Higurashi No Koro Ni and also in the infamous School Days. This scene is more like scary than dramatic to me.

So that’s where Nagisa’s talents come from. I never saw Nagisa acting before but I’m sure that Akio is a great actor. Look at his character, he is fit to be an actor. I would love to see his acting someday.

After watching this episode, I’m not entirely disappointed.. This means that the possibility of a 2nd season will be higher..(I think so). A 2nd season is a MUST have, if not, Clannad has been screwed by KyoAni. Still, I was expecting something more shocking to happen in this episode. There are lots of things that were left unexplained. Such as:

1. What does the ‘Mysterious World’ that we always see have any relations with Nagisa?
2. What will happen to Tomoya’s father and his relationship with Tomoya?
3. Most importantly, what will I do without my beloved Kyou-sama after Clannad ends?

Heh..KyoAni should have done a better job with Clannad. I love how KyoAni did Kanon but Clannad is lacking it. What happened to the KyoAni that we all once loved?

Next week is the final episode (hopefully not) of Clannad. I have a feeling that a big announcement will be made after the final episode of Clannad. The announcement will most probably be Haruhi 2nd season or hopefully Clannad 2nd season. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the conclusion next week..

I still have faith in KyoAni, so let’s see what will happen…
