Yea, P.A Works is KyoAni’s nearest rival for now..
The only thing that P.A Works have to do now is make another ‘Haruhi’..
Another anime that is a huge hit just like Haruhi..
But KyoAni is still the best in the business..

Must have been an early draw for viewers. Which makes me wonder if some "politics" are starting to come into play of what KyoAni does. "Our ratings slipped last week a bit; throw some fanservice in the next episode!" one higher-up in KyoAni could have said. I wonder if they feel any pressure from P.A. Works for true tears. Even if CLANNAD falls a bit short, it won't damage my impression of KyoAni. They've done such great work so far; I don't think they would purposefully screw anything up. They're human like anybody else and make mistakes / aren't perfect, too.
