Fumika awakens. Whatever happens next?
[Summary]
After 3 years, Fumika finally awakens from her slumber, but with her memories in a jumble. Here, Mika-chan reveals that her true purpose in becoming a postal worker is to personally deliver the gun she holds to Fumi-chan, and ask Fumi-chan to shoot her with it as her punishment.

Naturally, Chiaki and the others will have no such thing. They arrange to have Fumi-chan moved to Natsuka’s house while Kaname throws Mika-chan off the scent by saying Mika-chan transferred hospitals.

Meanwhile, Chiaki consults the help of water-pipe smoking law expert Risala to see if they can find a way out of Mika-chan’s situation, which is the fact that a postal worker who is supposed to be dead is alive.

Kanaka does her best to dissolve Mika-chan’s resolution in her own death. However, after so many episodes, Kanaka has never dissuaded Mika-chan from anything. So, while Mika-chan appreciates the effort, Kanaka gets ditched anyway.

Also, despite Natsuka and Kaname’s best attempts, Fumi-chan stumbles upon a book of Mikawa Kirameki’s works regains her memories in a particularly nasty way.

Like two lovers drawn together by an inexplicable bond, Fumi-chan and Mika-chan somehow meet at shrine. Fumi-chan, who is still convinced that she shot Kirameki, is shocked when Mika-chan tells her otherwise. Mika-chan hands the gun over, and a shot resounds into the silence of the setting sun…

[Overall Impressions]

Mika-chan NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Now we know why:-
1) Mika-chan has a gun
2) Said gun has a shigofumi stamp
While Mika-chan may want to atone for her sins by getting Fumi-chan to shoot her, I wonder if she considered how Fumi-chan would have felt.
After the shot, Fumika’s personality seems to have changed. She even told Nojima-san (the detective) that she wanted to press charges against her father! (not that he doesn’t deserve it)
Is Mika-chan truly gone? Or is she still somewhere in Fumika?
The next episode, [Shigofumi] is the final episode. This series has been great thus far and I have really enjoyed watching it. Now let’s hope it gives us great ending as well, and not some fairytale shit like H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~. I’m still reeling from the shock and too traumatised to do a review as it is.
